Jane Brown has more than 25 years of experience working at the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs in social and behavior change communication. She has provided technical support to country programs throughout Africa and in Asia addressing maternal child health, HIV/AIDS, malaria, reproductive health, Ebola, and most recently, COVID-19. Currently she is the deputy project director for USAID’s flagship Social and Behavior Change project, Breakthrough ACTION.

Jane Karuku is the president of the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), where she leads the partnership organization’s work across the continent to help millions of small-scale farmers and their families boost farm productivity and incomes. She previously served on AGRA’s board and brought with her two decades of experience at companies such as Telkom Kenya and Cadbury Limited.

Jane Madgwick is an ecologist and author with 30 years of experience of working internationally on the science, policy and practice of wetlands and water management. Since 2004, she has been CEO of Wetlands International, leading a network of 20 offices operating in over 100 countries.

Jane Mann

Jane Mann is the managing director at the Cambridge Partnership for Education, part of Cambridge University Press & Assessment. She has worked in educational publishing for over two decades, leading many international education reform projects and working with ministries of education, government agencies, NGOs, donor agencies, and educational organizations. Mann is a member of the Centre for the Study of Global Human Movement at the University of Cambridge and the BESA Executive Council.

Jane Thomason is the chief executive officer of Abt Associates Australia, senior adviser for international social policy at Abt Associates and a member of the Devex Impact Strategic Advisory Council. She has worked extensively in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and the Pacific, Mongolia and the Philippines and has held executive roles in health and development in Australia and internationally.

Jane Thomason is the chief executive officer of Abt Associates-Australia. Dr. Thomason established JTA International in 1999 and has successfully led its growth, building from an initial portfolio of aid programs to diversify into the mining sector and develop Australian operations. In 2013, JTA International became Abt JTA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Abt Associates.

Jane Wathome is founder and executive director of Beacon of Hope, a community-based nongovernmental organization in Nairobi, Kenya. She has received a number of accolades and awards for excellence in service to the community and sits on several nonprofit boards in Kenya. She holds a master’s degree from International Leadership University, Nairobi. She has worked in the corporate world in senior marketing positions for over five years before focusing on community development.

Jane Wilbur is a social inclusion specialist currently working at WaterAid. She has experience in developing and implementing inclusive water, sanitation and hygiene programs; carrying out program reviews and evaluations, as well as conducting, analyzing and disseminating research to influence policy and practice.
