Amber Peterman

Amber Peterman

Amber Peterman is an associate research professor at the University of North Carolina and a social policy consultant at the UNICEF Office of Research — Innocenti, working with the transfer project on large-scale evaluations of government social protection programs. Her research focuses on issues related to gender and development, including women’s economic empowerment and gender-based violence. Amber holds in Ph.D. in public policy and previously worked as an assistant research professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the International Food Policy Research Institute in Washington D.C., Kampala, and Dakar.
Amb. Fletcher Burton

Amb. Fletcher Burton

Ambassador Fletcher M. Burton is the former head of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is a senior career member of the U.S. Foreign Service. Over his career, he compiled extensive experience in the Balkans, especially in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo. He served as deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo, and as deputy international civilian representative at the International Civilian Office. He was also deputy principal officer at the U.S. Office in Pristina and most recently, head of the U.S. Provincial Reconstruction Team in Kirkuk, Iraq.

Ambika Samarthya-Howard

Ambika Samarthya-Howard is a communications strategist and documentary video producer with two decades of experience at the intersection of storytelling and social good. She is the chief innovation officer at the Solutions Journalism Network, where she launched and leads the Solutions Insights Lab, a research-to-action initiative that has produced work for foundations such as Skoll and the Livelihood Impact Funds. The lab uses the Solutions Journalism approach to investigate responses, evidence, insights, and limitations of solutions to current issues, providing actionable insights. Samarthya-Howard has produced content for Current TV, UNICEF, Havas, UNFPA, and Save the Children, and has presented at more than 20 global conferences, including MERL Tech and SXSW.

Ambroise Fayolle was appointed vice president of the European Investment Bank in February 2015. He is currently in charge of the operational activities of the bank in France, Germany, and South Africa, and for ACP/OCT mandates, West Africa, and the Pacific Islands, as well as financing of environment, climate action, and the circular economy.

Amelia Andrews

Amelia Andrews is a development communications professional who has worked at local, national and South Asian contexts. She has worked on issues ranging from women’s empowerment through education, health and financial inclusion to sexual and reproductive health and rights. She currently heads communications at CREA, a feminist organisation based in the global south taking an intersectional approach to women’s rights.

Amélie Yan-Gouiffes

Amélie Yan-Gouiffes is a senior adviser in crisis management, resilience, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility. She helps governments, individuals, and companies build sustainable legacies. With 26 years in crisis response across multiple continents, she prioritizes people, the planet, and prosperity by forging innovative partnerships. Recently, she worked in Madagascar, aligning the private sector with crisis management. A member of ISSP and Rotary Madagascar, Yan-Gouiffes is also a certified coach, speaker, podcaster, and author.

Amie Batson

Amie Batson is chief strategy officer at PATH. She is responsible for guiding PATH’s strategy, strengthening its partnerships and business relationships in the global health community, and contributing to its advocacy and policy priorities. Amie’s 20-year career in global health includes positions with the World Health Organization, the World Bank, UNICEF, and most recently, the U.S. Agency for International Development, where she served as senior deputy assistant administrator for global health.

Aminah Ann Pungutan works with the Devex Analytics team in Manila, where she coordinates efforts in ensuring data quality and content management, and assists in analyzing funding trends of different organizations. She has a bachelor's degree in foreign service major in diplomacy.
