Joel Turner is a program officer at IREX and works on Beyond Access projects in Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Mali and Myanmar. Joel was previously based in Namibia, but is now based in Washington, D.C.

Joelle Jackson is a conscious leadership coach with 19 years of experience in helping global citizens overcome the status quo. Her desire to see more individuals unleash their potential and become "the change they want to see in the world," compelled her in 2013 to enter the realm of professional coaching. Joelle’s niche, conscious leadership, entails leading our thoughts, emotions, and actions consciously, and moving out of default modes of thinking, feeling and acting that keep us stuck in the status quo.

Joe Parkin Daniels is a British journalist based in Bogotá, Colombia, where he covers human rights, the country's internal conflict, and health.

Johan Swinnen is the director general of the International Food Policy Research Institute and managing director of CGIAR’s Systems Transformation Action Area. Swinnen has published extensively on agricultural and food policies, international development, political economy, institutional reforms, trade, and global value chains. His recent book, “The Political Economy of Agricultural and Food Policies,” received the 2019 Book Award from the European Association of Agricultural Economists.

Johanna is a scholar-in-residence at American University’s School of International Service and a senior advisor with the Stimson Center’s Managing Across Boundaries Initiative. She helped to found USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives and served in a variety of high-level functions within the U.S. government, World Bank and U.N. Foundation, among others. Most recently, she co-directed the Center for Strategic and International Studies' post-conflict reconstruction project.

Johanna Morden is a community development worker by training and a global development journalist by profession. As a former Devex staff writer based in Manila, she covered the Asian Development Bank as well as Asia-Pacific's aid community at large. Johanna has written for a variety of international publications, covering social issues, disasters, government, ICT, business, and the law.

Johanna Ralston is the CEO of the World Obesity Federation and Executive in Residence at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy. Prior to this, Johanna was CEO of the World Heart Federation and vice chair of the NCD Alliance.

Johanna Mair is professor for organization, strategy, and leadership at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. Her research focuses on how novel organizational and institutional arrangements can generate economic and social development. Mair also is a distinguished fellow at the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society where she serves as a co-director of the Global Innovation for Impact Lab and as the academic editor of the Stanford Social Innovation Review.

Johannes Jütting is executive head of PARIS21, the Partnership in Statistics for Development in the 21st Century.
