Julie Borlaug is the granddaughter of Norman E. Borlaug, American biologist, humanitarian and Nobel laureate. Julie is the associate director of external affairs at the Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture at Texas A&M. Julie has worked to continue the legacy through developing agricultural partnerships between public, private and philanthropic groups to further and expand upon the mission to feed the world’s hungry.

Julie Cornell is a manager for worldwide corporate contributions at Johnson & Johnson. She is responsible for managing international programs that address gender-based violence and promote gender equality, health literacy, and women’s economic empowerment. Julie has a breadth of experience in communications, strategic planning and program development and implementation in both for-profit and nonprofit sectors.

Julie Dorf is co-chair of the Council for Global Equality, a coalition of 40 U.S. human rights and LGBTQI+ organizations that come together to advocate for inclusive U.S. foreign policy and development policy. Julie has spent her 30+ year career trailblazing in the global LGBTQI+ rights movement.

Julie Espinosa is the Associate Director of Creative at Devex. She leads a team of visual storytellers who work with reporters all over the globe to cover the topics of humanitarian aid, sustainable development and global health. Prior to joining Devex, Julie worked in documentary film production in Austin, Texas. She holds a master’s degree in communications and cultural studies from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s in visual arts from Harvard University.

Julie Garfieldt Kofoed is the senior director for sustainable development initiatives at the U.N. Foundation. Previously, she was head of human rights at U.N. Global Compact and served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, most recently with the permanent mission of Denmark to the U.N.

Julie Greenwalt joined the Cities Alliance Secretariat as an urban environment specialist in June 2016. She is responsible for mainstreaming environmental concerns into Cities Alliance’s operations and provides technical advisory services to the Joint Work Programme on Resilient Cities. Julie has over eight years of experience working on sustainable development with a focus on climate change, sustainable land use and urban development.

Julie Khamati is a feminist and human rights defender with over three years of professional experience in advocating for gender equity and equality. She is a program assistant at the Forum for African Women Educationalists and plays a central role in project implementation and coordination. Before joining FAWE, Khamati worked at Makadara Social Development Office as a volunteer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Development Studies from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

Julie T. Katzman

Julie T. Katzman is the executive vice-president and chief operating officer of the Inter-American Development Bank, the largest provider of development finance to the public and private sectors in Latin America and Caribbean. As a long-time investment banker focused primarily on private equity, Ms. Katzman developed well-recognized expertise in financial structures and products across numerous industries. Ms. Katzman joined the IDB Group in 2009 as general manager of the Multilateral Investment Fund. Eighteen months later, she was appointed executive vice president of the IDB.
