Julian Baskin

Julian Baskin is a town and regional planner from South Africa with more than 25 years of experience in urban programming, with a particular focus on participatory slum upgrading and affordable housing. He is currently head of programme unit at Cities Alliance, where he manages the country programme team, which is active in Uganda, Ghana, Vietnam, Mozambique and Burkina Faso.

Julian Bergmann is senior researcher at the German Institute of Development and Sustainability. His research and policy advisory work deals with EU development policy, EU foreign and security policy, the EU’s engagement in fragile contexts, and European support for Ukraine.
Julian Eaton

Julian Eaton

Julian Eaton is mental health director for CBM International and co-director of the Centre for Global Mental Health at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He is a psychiatrist focused on public health and his work involves promoting greater access to health care services, social inclusion, and realization of rights for people with mental illnesses and psychosocial disabilities, especially in poor and marginalized communities.

Julie has a breadth of experience in communications, strategic planning and program development and implementation in both for-profit and nonprofit sectors.

Julie Espinosa

Julie Espinosa is the Associate Director of Creative at Devex. She leads a team of visual storytellers who work with reporters all over the globe to cover the topics of humanitarian aid, sustainable development and global health. Prior to joining Devex, Julie worked in documentary film production in Austin, Texas. She holds a master’s degree in communications and cultural studies from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s in visual arts from Harvard University.
