Kathryn Irwin is an international communications and advocacy specialist who has worked with UNICEF, INGOs, governments, and foundations. Before joining Nursing Now, she worked on the launch of the STAR Ghana Foundation for Christian Aid, and has served as the interim chief of communications and advocacy with UNICEF China, and as head of international and donor communications with Christian Aid.

Kathryn Pritchard joined the Open Data Institute in July 2015 as an international services intern to support projects for ODI’s Services and Policy teams. She is entering her final year reading for a degree in philosophy, politics and economics at Balliol College, Oxford. Her study is increasingly focused on the modern history of developed and developing states. She joined the ODI to experience a team driving forward institutional change firsthand.

Katie Bunten-Wamaru

Katie Bunten-Wamaru is co-CEO of the African Visionary Fund. She is a fundraiser and strategist with over 12 years of experience in nonprofit management and eight years working in East Africa. While in East Africa, Katie witnessed firsthand the inequities within the philanthropic sector as well as the power of community-led development. As co-CEO, Katie is laser focused on driving more resources to high-impact African visionaries. Prior to her current role, Katie worked with the Segal Family Foundation as the director of strategy, spearheading the African Visionary Fellowship.

Katie Dain is CEO at the NCD Alliance, a global network of civil society organizations dedicated to transforming the fight against noncommunicable diseases. Dain has worked with the NCD Alliance since its founding in 2009. She is widely recognized as a leading advocate and expert on NCDs and co-chairs the World Health Organization’s Civil Society Working Group on NCDs.
