Kirsten Gagnaire is the executive director of the Mobile Alliance for Maternal Action. Before joining MAMA, Gagnaire was the Ghana country director for the Grameen Foundation and led the initial implementation of MOTECH. She was the founder of the Social Enterprise Group and Sustayne, and has a depth of experience and passion for addressing social and environmental issues through profitable business ventures.

Dr. Kirsten Johnson is an associate professor of emergency medicine at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She practices emergency medicine at McGill University's Health Centre Hospitals and is the incoming president for the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians. As CEO of Humanitarian U, she is involved in humanitarian professionalization, working on the development of competencies and standards for the training, education, and certification of humanitarian responders globally.

Kirtbir Chahal is an advocacy and policy specialist based in London, England. She is committed to the meaningful engagement of children and young people. As a policy adviser at Unicef UK, she works to center and protect every child’s right to health in domestic and international policies, including air pollution, immunization, and nutrition.

Kisaro Thomas Lombutwa

Kisaro Thomas Lombutwa was born and raised in the heart of Makame Wildlife Management Area. While part of the WMA management team he gained invaluable experience in natural resource governance, community engagement, and sustainable land use practices. Kisaro is now the Makame Savannah project manager where he works closely with local leaders, stakeholders, and conservation partners to ensure that the voices of his community are heard and that they receive equitable compensation from conservation efforts.

Kishore Rao is a principal at Deloitte Consulting and serves as the lead consulting services partner for the US-IDO accounts including multilateral development banks and international organizations (World Bank group, International Monetary Fund, Inter-American Bank) and U.S/ donor and development finance organizations (U.S. Agency for International Development, Millennium Development Corporation Ex-IM bank, Overseas Private Investment Corp.).

Klara Saville is the head of global animal health, welfare and community development at Brooke. As a veterinarian working in international animal health, she has led projects to strengthen animal health systems across the global south.

Klaus Kraemer

Dr. Klaus Kraemer is managing director of Sight and Life Foundation and adjunct associate professor in the Department of International Health of Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He serves several professional societies dedicated to nutrition, food systems, micronutrients, and implementation science. He has published about 140 scientific articles, monographs, reviews, book chapters, and co-edited 12 books. He serves on the board of the Micronutrient Forum, assumes several advisory functions, and is the recipient of distinguished international honors.

Her primary focus is guiding the completion of the 2-year Diasporas for Development initiative, a public-private partnership between Cuso, USAID and Accenture to mobilize U.S. professionals from immigrant communities to volunteer in their countries of origin.

She currently lives and practices family medicine in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Komila Nabiyeva is a freelance journalist and a communications consultant based in Germany. She has reported for a variety of media outlets, including the Guardian, Deutsche Welle and GEO, focusing on environment, climate change and development politics. Her latest consultancy was with the U.N. Convention to Combat Desertification. Her regional interests include the EU, Germany, Russia and Central Asia.
