Laura Bannister is a political economist, justice activist, and researcher. She’s worked on global justice, trade justice, universal basic income, child rights, and environmental issues. In 2016, she set up Equal Right to campaign for global north-south redistribution and a secure income as a human right.

Laura Broyles

Laura N. Broyles, director of programs at the Global Health Impact Group, is an infectious diseases physician with over 18 years experience in global HIV programs and clinical HIV care. Her work has included activities related to HIV viral load monitoring, early infant diagnosis, HIV drug resistance, elimination of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, differentiated service delivery, and scale-up of the advanced HIV disease package of care.

Laura Down

Laura Down specializes in global health communications across East Africa and the United Kingdom. She lives in Nairobi, Kenya, serving as head of global communications at Jacaranda Health. Prior to Jacaranda, she led communications at Partners In Health’s sister organization, UGHE, in Rwanda; held consultancies at UNICEF and Babyl; and worked in global advertising agencies in London.

Laura Frigenti is the chief executive officer of the Global Partnership for Education. Laura has 30 years of experience in global development gained through her service in multilateral organizations, government, nonprofit, and the private sector. She worked at the World Bank for 20 years, holding several technical and managerial positions in Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe.

Laura Guarinoni has a degree in sociology from Universidad de Buenos Aires and in journalism. She collaborates with several national and international written media covering the women’s movement in Argentina and Latin America. She worked in radio. What she likes most about the job is telling stories.

Laura Hemrika

Laura Hemrika is head of the Microfinance Capacity Building Initiative at Credit Suisse and chair of the Swiss Capacity Building Facility, a public-private partnership established to assist financial intermediaries in scaling up their outreach to poor people in developing countries. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Hemrika was a strategy consultant at Booz & Co., among other public and private firms in the microfinance, trade and social enterprise sectors.

Laura Henderson is director of education policy at Women Thrive Worldwide. Prior to joining the organization in 2012, Henderson held leadership positions at CARE, ChildFund International and WWF, and her international development career began as a Peace Corps volunteer in Togo.

Laura Kim is a data storyteller and a monitoring, evaluation, and learning adviser and strategist. She is currently a senior consultant at the Canopy Lab, a boutique international development consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. As part of her role, Laura is engaged in Canopy’s Inclusion and Leadership series — an ongoing research project that explores the structures and norms that influence the composition of the international development workforce.
