Laure Wessemius-Chibrac joined Cordaid as head of investments in June 2013. She has 20 years of experience in investment and worked in equity advisory at BNP Paribas, in capital markets at ABN AMRO Rothschild in Paris and London and in financial advisory in the Netherlands. Cordaid is a mission-driven investor supporting access to inclusive finance in fragile and post-conflict areas through investments in MFIs and SME funds.

Lauren Galvin

Lauren Galvin

Lauren Galvin is a senior technical adviser for health and gender at Global Communities. She has 10 years of experience in research, program design, implementation, and evaluation of reproductive, maternal, and child health, nutrition, parenting, and father-engagement programs. She recently co-designed and managed the Tanzania EFFECTS randomized trial measuring impact of engaging fathers and bundling nutrition and parenting interventions on child diets, growth, development, and gender equality. Galvin has a master’s degree in Public Health from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Smith College. She works in South Asia, Central and East Africa, and Latin America.

Lauren Mooney

Lauren Mooney is a senior specialist for conflict prevention and stabilization at the International Republican Institute, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization committed to advancing democracy and governance worldwide. In this role, she provides technical assistance, manages global programs, and conducts research on the nexus of democratic governance and conflict mitigation. At IRI, she managed a program in Colombia, Uganda and Lebanon, which focused on piloting and scaling lessons learned in governance solutions to displacement. Previously, she was a program manager and research associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Mooney has worked on conflict prevention and stabilization worldwide, including Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.

She is responsible for driving strategy development and implementation of the company’s social impact work, corporate citizenship, and strategic philanthropy. With the strong focus of Johnson & Johnson on relentlessly driving better health for all, the global community impact team focuses on supporting and championing people on the front lines. Moore also oversees the Johnson & Johnson Foundation and is president of the Johnson & Johnson Patient Assistance Foundation.
