Leigh is also a secretariat member of Stop TB Canada, a network connecting people, organizations, and communities committed to ending tuberculosis at home and abroad.

Leila Hessini serves as the vice president of programs at Global Fund for Women and oversees its strategic grantmaking, movement-strengthening, voice, and advocacy efforts. She is a global feminist leader and social justice advocate with over 20 years of organizing and grantmaking experience promoting an intersectional lens to advancing human rights, gender equality, and economic and reproductive justice in the United States and globally.

Leila Makarechi

Leila Makarechi is vice president of the enterprise team at PhilU, the premier training solution for social impact professionals. She has over a decade of social entrepreneurship experience as an operator, running an impact fund and advising early stage companies, and is excited by the promise of technology to tackle social inequalities. Makarechi has led teams on five continents, scaled up a health care social enterprise from three people to more than 1,000 across four continents, and has been the youngest member of a United Nations agency. Previously, she led Coursera's government enterprise business to help countries upskill their workforce.

Leire Pajín

Before becoming director of international development at ISGlobal in 2014, Leire Pajín Iraola was Spain's minister for health, social policy and equality, before becoming a special adviser to the Pan-American Health Organization and a policy adviser to the United Nations Development Program. Earlier in her career, as secretary of state for international cooperation and president of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation, she was involved in the development of the Master Plan for Spanish Cooperation (2005-2008) which increased Spanish official development aid threefold to 0.5 percent of GDP.

Leith Lombas

Leith Lombas is a research associate at JBS International. He has 12 years of experience in social science and nonprofit research, education and training. His areas of expertise include evaluation design, qualitative and mixed methods research, empowerment and participatory evaluation design and approaches, gender and international development, violence and violence prevention, homelessness and HIV/AIDS prevention. He has extensive knowledge of social theory, feminist theory and gender studies.

Lelei LeLaulu

Lelei LeLaulu is a development entrepreneur lurking at the confluence of climate change, tourism, food security and renewable energy. A coordinator of the Oceania Sustainable Tourism Alliance, Lelei is also executive director of the Small Island Developing States Climate Action Program of the Earth Council and president of Sustainable Solutions, a renewable energy company in the Dominican Republic. He was president and CEO of the development and humanitarian agency Counterpart International after serving the United Nations on a series of summits and global conferences which in the 1990s defined the international development agenda. The former journalist hails from Samoa.
