Luisa Natali

Luisa Natali is a social policy consultant at the UNICEF Office of Research —Innocenti since 2011 and a Ph.D. candidate in development economics at Sussex University. She specializes in social policy and social protection, and in particular dynamics of child labor, education, and gender within evaluation of cash transfer programs in Sub-Saharan Africa. Luisa has previously worked with the Overseas Development Institute, Institute of Development Studies and the U.K. Department for International Development. She holds an master’s degree in development economics from Sussex University.

Prior to working at International IDEA, he worked mainly on external relations and international affairs at the Organization of American States, the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at Universidad del Norte in Colombia.

He has published a book on “Advocacy and Organizational Engagement” which defines the core building blocks of modern advocacy.

He has worked with a number of Fortune 500 and Nikkei 500 corporations, and is a member of Green Mondays, an international networking event for sustainability professionals in Tokyo, and a founding member of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals Japan. Luke is lead contributor and project manager for the Japan section of CSR International’s World Guide to CSR, and writes for other green media in Japan and abroad.

A career diplomat, he was a former foreign policy adviser to the Mongolian president as a specialist in international relations. Orgil has also worked for the U.N. office in Tajikistan and has experience in the private sector.

Luwei Pearson

Luwei Pearson, a pediatrician by training, serves as deputy director of UNICEF’s global health program, and is based in New York. Luwei has served UNICEF in several duty stations, including China, Pakistan, Nepal, East and Southern Africa based in Nairobi, Kenya, and Ethiopia. Her expertise focuses particularly on maternal, newborn and child health, with particular focus on the most marginalized populations.
