His main area of interest is the changing architecture of development cooperation, publishing extensively on the subject. Previously, Rogerson worked at the OECD and advised its development assistance committee; was head of the human development group at the U.K. Department for International Development; and spent 26 years on the staff at the World Bank.

Andrew Wainer is director of policy research for Save the Children. He was formerly a senior immigration policy analyst at Bread for the World Institute, which provides policy analysis on hunger and strategies to end it. He has also worked as a journalist and social researcher in Latin America and the United States. Andrew’s research and journalism has appeared in the Los Angeles Times and the Wall Street Journal, among other publications. He holds a master’s degree in Latin American studies from UCLA and is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese.

Andrew Watson is managing director for environment and health at DAI. An 18-year veteran of the organization, he was DAI's chief of party on the USAID Morocco Economic Competitiveness Program and has been involved in similar long-term development initiatives in Madagascar and Malawi.

Andrew has worked in the nonprofit and social impact sectors in Uganda for more than seven years, focusing on education, enterprise and agriculture. He holds a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and prior to working in Uganda, lived and worked in Malawi, Swaziland and Zambia.
