Margaret Chandler is an international development communications specialist at Tetra Tech. During its final year, she worked with the USAID Promote Women’s Leadership Development project team in Kabul and spent time with many program participants. Chandler’s experience working with gender-related issues on college campuses and with U.S. high school students led her into approaching women’s empowerment through education and skill development.

Margaret Lubaale

Margaret Lubaale

Margaret Lubaale is the executive director of the Health NGOs Network, or HENNET, a membership-based coalition of NGOs and CSOs in Kenya. Margaret has over 20 years of strategic and programmatic experience in managing development programs across Kenya. Before joining HENNET, Margaret worked for Winrock International, Child Fund International, Pathfinder International, and Plan International, amongst other organizations. Throughout her career, she has provided strategic leadership and direction to various teams in areas ranging from reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health and HIV to the prevention of sexual and gender-based violence and child protection.

Zeigler is the executive director of the Global Harvest Initiative, a private sector voice for agricultural productivity growth throughout the value chain to sustainably meet the demands of a growing world. Zeigler has dedicated her career to addressing global hunger and food security and has worked in this area for more than 18 years, most recently serving as deputy director at the Congressional Hunger Center.

Margarita Astralaga is the director of the Environment and Climate Division of the U.N.'s International Fund for Agricultural Development. She is a Colombian biologist, specializing in environmental management from the Danish Water Institute, with a master's in regional planning and development. She has over 25 years of experience in the environment and sustainable development sector, including a wide range of responsibilities at the national and international levels.

Margarita Lysenkova

Margarita Lysenkova joined Global Reporting Initiative in 2019 and has been instrumental in the development of the new Sector Program, where she has led the pilot project for the development of GRI 13. With a professional background in corporate, United Nations, and non-for-profit sectors across four countries, Lysenkova’s expertise spans international labor standards and sustainability. She has previously worked for the International Labour Organization in Geneva and in a financial reporting role with a Belgian multinational.
