Margot Brandenburg was formerly senior associate director at the Rockefeller Foundation, where she managed its impact investing initiative. She is currently a fellow at the Nathan Cummings Foundation, where she is working on the launch of several social enterprise startups. She also chairs the board of Brooklyn Cooperative Credit Union and is adjunct faculty at New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Maria Brul

Maria Brul is the manager of Lighthouse Relief's Child Friendly Space at Ritsona refugee camp in Greece. In this role, she supervises all CFS programming and safeguarding procedures, including on-site logistics and support for all child protection-related activities as part of Lighthouse Relief's Child Protection in Emergencies (CPiE) programming. She previously served as a case worker and psychotherapist including at Refuge and NHS IAPT in London and the Red Cross in Sydney, Australia. She holds a FDSc in Pschodynamic Counselling and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from the University of London.

Maria has over a decade of experience in sustainability and finance, partnering with global institutional investors to engage with some of the world’s most critical ESG challenges.

Maria Malomalo

Maria Malomalo is a pan-African feminist with more than 14 years of experience in women’s rights, adolescent programming, and action research. She now leads research for the global youth agency Restless Development and is the co-author of the organization’s annual State of Youth Civil Society report. She is the founder of Mwana Pwo, an NGO focusing on adolescent sexual and reproductive health. Maria is also an advisor for Urgent Action Fund Africa, a feminist funding organization, and a member of the African Feminist Network for Communication and Development.

Maria P. Neira has been directing the Department of Environment, Climate Change, and Health at the World Health Organization since September 2005. She has led and advised on policy and management in key areas of environmental health. Before that, she served as under-secretary of health and president at the Spanish Food Safety Agency. From 1993-1998 she was coordinator of the Global Task Force on Cholera Control. Dr. Neira began her career as a medical coordinator working with refugees in El Salvador and Honduras for Médecins Sans Frontières. She then spent several years working in different African countries during armed conflicts.
