Mariatou Tala Jallow is a globally recognized leader in pharmaceutical procurement and quality in low- and middle-income countries. In the past, she was the chief pharmacist of Gambia’s Ministry of Health and head of health product procurement at The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. She has served on multiple global advisory committees related to pharmaceutical procurement and quality.

Maria Victoria “Mavic” Cabrera Balleza

Maria Victoria “Mavic” Cabrera Balleza is the founder and chief executive officer of the Global Network of Women Peacebuilders. Her leadership and collaboration have resulted in the establishment of the UN Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund and the Generation Equality Compact on Women, Peace and Security and Humanitarian Action.

Mari Chrys Pablo is an economist at the AIM Policy Center, where she is involved with the center’s randomized control trial researches and social protection system policies. Chrys previously worked at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the Department of Agriculture. Her research interests include agribusiness marketing and trade, and consumer behavior.

Marie Gaarder is executive director of 3ie, leading the organization’s efforts to improve lives in low- and middle-income countries by supporting the generation and effective use of high-quality and relevant evidence to inform decision-making. Gaarder has over 20 years of experience managing operational and research projects with a development focus. Her prior positions include manager in the World Bank’s Independent Evaluation Group, director of the evaluation department at the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation, and senior social development economist at the Inter-American Development Bank.

Marie Haga is associate vice president of external relations and governance at the United Nations' International Fund for Agricultural Development. She has extensive experience in conservation, food security, and politics. She is the former executive director at the Global Crop Diversity Trust, and she previously served as a Norwegian member of Parliament and has held three ministerial positions.

Marie Staunton

Marie Staunton is currently chair of strategic coherence for ODA Research Board, which is supported by the U.K. Collaborative on Development Research, and is on the board of Oxford Policy Management. She has worked on international development and human rights for over 35 years in the public, commercial, and NGO sectors. She has been CEO of NGOs including Plan UK, Plan Canada, and Amnesty UK; deputy director of UNICEF UK; and secretary general of the International Federation of Anti-Leprosy Associations.

Marie-Claude Zando is based in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, and serves as chief of party for the Des Chiffres et Des Jeunes program. Marie-Claude has an MBA from Rutgers University and previously worked with the World Cocoa Foundation and other companies in the U.S. and Côte d’Ivoire.

Marie-Evelyne Petrus-Barry

Marie-Evelyne Petrus-Barry is the Africa regional director at the International Planned Parenthood Federation. She has over 30 years of international human rights experience and leads her team to advocate, promote, and deliver sexual and reproductive health and rights in 42 sub-Saharan countries. Her leadership helps ensure that IPPF’s Africa regional office, through locally owned organizations, protects and safeguards the rights of the most vulnerable in society.

Marie-Hélène Schwoob

Graduated from the AgroParisTech and Sciences Po-Paris, Marie-Helene Schwoob uses her dual background in agronomy and political science to conduct research on sustainability issues in agriculture and food systems. After having managed the energy and environment program at Paris-based think tank Asia Center, she joined the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations in 2011. She occasionally teaches graduate courses at Sciences Po, Ecole des Mines and Université Lille-III and regularly contributes to the China Analysis review.
Marielle Hart

Marielle Hart

Marielle Hart is policy manager with the International HIV/AIDS Alliance office in Washington, D.C. responsible for managing the Stop AIDS Alliance global policy project implemented in Washington, D.C., Brussels and Geneva. Marielle is also the Alliance’s global policy lead on the post-2015 process, and works across coalitions, including Action for Global Health, InterAction and Global Health Council, towards common CSO positions on health in the post-2015 framework.
