Marielle Hart

Marielle Hart is policy manager with the International HIV/AIDS Alliance office in Washington, D.C. responsible for managing the Stop AIDS Alliance global policy project implemented in Washington, D.C., Brussels and Geneva. Marielle is also the Alliance’s global policy lead on the post-2015 process, and works across coalitions, including Action for Global Health, InterAction and Global Health Council, towards common CSO positions on health in the post-2015 framework.

Marielle Schweickart is a 2015-2016 Global Health Corps Fellow, serving as a communications and development specialist at Marie Stopes International. Currently based in Washington, D.C., she previously worked with development organizations in East Africa focusing on water, sanitation and hygiene solutions and reproductive health in underserved communities.

Marième Daff is a global development professional with nearly 20 years of experience with a focus on women’s economic empowerment, social inclusion, and gender-sensitive programming primarily in Africa. She is currently director of programs and partnerships at a private foundation based in Portland, Oregon. Originally from Senegal, Marième was educated in France and the United States.

Since 2016, Safe Online has invested nearly $100 million in 100 projects to strengthen capacities, research, and evidence and develop innovative tech tools to combat digital threats to children across over 85 countries.

Marijke Wijnroks

Marijke Wijnroks is interim executive director of the Global Fund after serving as chief of staff from 2013-2017. Previously, Dr. Wijnroks was ambassador for HIV/AIDS and deputy director of social development in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands. Dr. Wijnroks began her career as a field doctor in Sudan with Médecins Sans Frontières, earned a medical degree from Maastricht University and a tropical health and medicine degree from the Institute for Tropical Medicine.

Marilia Schüller is secretary for racial and gender equality for Koinonia Ecumenical Presence and Service, Christian Aid's partner in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A lay theologian, Schüller is also a member of the Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church.

Marilyn Heymann

Marilyn Heymann is part of the technical facilitation team for the Joint Learning Network for Universal Health Coverage. She works primarily on health care financing projects with the expanding coverage team of the Joint Learning Network. Prior to joining R4D, Marilyn coordinated health project on reducing maternal mortality in the Dominican Republic for Dr. Arachu Castro, associate professor at Harvard Medical School.

Mario Marcel

Mario Marcel

Mario Marcel, a Chilean and Spanish national, is the senior director of the World Bank's Governance Global Practice, where he works on financial management, procurement, open government, social accountability, judicial systems and inclusive institutions, among other topics. Prior to this, he served as the deputy director for Public Governance and Territorial Development at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. He also previously worked at the Inter-American Development Bank.
