Mehmet Erdoğan

Mehmet Erdoğan

Mehmet received his master's degrees, first in international peace and conflict resolution, and later in public health, in the United States, where he also worked as an HIV case manager. He returned to Cyprus, where he worked on peace building and human rights advocacy. His interests include the potential of technology and social media to contribute to social good. Currently he works as part of the Kapuscinski Development Lectures series and U.N. Development Program Istanbul Regional Hub teams.

She is the research director at Women in Global Heath and a member of Global Health Workforce Network’s Gender Equity Hub co-chaired by WGH and WHO. Mehr’s research focuses on gender equality within global health leadership and women’s leadership in global health.

Prior to joining IFRC, he was the technical director for The Gold Standard Foundation, an internationally recognized certification standard for climate change mitigation projects with a focus on stakeholder consultation and environmental and socio-economic benefits.

Melanie Cohen Greenberg is president and CEO of the Alliance for Peacebuilding, a network of 106 peace-building organizations working in 153 countries. Before joining AfP, she worked in philanthropy (president and founder of the Cypress Fund for Peace and Security, and Conflict Resolution program director at the Hewlett Foundation) and academia (associate director of the Center on International Security and Cooperation at Stanford University, and visiting fellow at Johns Hopkins SAIS).
