He leads the Transparency and Accountability Initiative — a donor collaborative driving impactful funding for these issues. Having worked for two decades on natural resource governance, Michael was the World Bank’s global lead for extractives governance and a founder of the Open Contracting Partnership.

Michael Keen is acting head of the TADAT Secretariat and deputy director of the Fiscal Affairs Department at the International Monetary Fund, where he was previously head of the Tax Policy and Tax Coordination divisions. Keen has as led taxation technical assistance missions to nearly 30 countries and consulted for the World Bank, the European Commission and the private sector.

Michael Klein is a director of International Solutions Group, a company that works with governments, U.N. agencies, international organizations, NGOs and other companies to improve the implementation of humanitarian aid and development programming projects. Klein is based in Washington, D.C, and is a member of ALNAP, Washington Evaluators and the American Evaluation Association.

Michael Klosson is vice president for policy and humanitarian response at Save the Children. He oversees the agency’s public policy and advocacy work with the U.S. and foreign governments as well as contributes to its global humanitarian response work. Prior to joining the organization in 2007, Klosson served as a career foreign service officer with numerous overseas posts in Asia and Europe.

Michael W. Marine, a former U.S. ambassador to Vietnam, was appointed CEO of the Sabin Vaccine Institute in April 2010. Marine joined Sabin's leadership team in December 2009 after serving 8 months on the Joint Action Committee of the Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases, an advocacy and resource mobilization initiative of Sabin. He was a member of the U.S. State Department's Foreign Service for 32 years.

Michael Maxey is a senior agriculture adviser with over 30 years of experience on USAID development programs in Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa and the Middle East. He has served as senior manager of a wide range of large agriculture development programs. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Michael Miklaucic is a senior fellow with the Institute for National Strategic Studies, and the director of research, information and publications at the Center for Complex Operations (CCO) at National Defense University. He is also the editor of PRISM, the journal of CCO. Prior to this assignment he served in various positions at the U.S. Agency for International Development and the Department of State, including USAID representative on the Civilian Response Corps Inter-Agency Task Force, as the senior program officer in the USAID Office of Democracy and Governance, and rule of law specialist in the Center for Democracy and Governance.

Michael Myers leads The Rockefeller Foundation’s global health work including its transforming health systems initiative and the campaign for Universal Health Coverage. He also coordinates strategies for the foundation’s work in the United States with a focus on building inclusive economies in cities.
