Mike Podmore is an advocacy and coalition specialist who has been working in the field of HIV, health, gender and human rights for 13 years. He is currently policy manager with the International HIV/AIDS Alliance and will shortly be joining StopAIDS as their new director.
Mike Strange

Mike Strange

Dr. Mike Strange is head of operations for diseases in the developing world at GlaxoSmithKline. He joined GSK in 1999 to work in the portfolio management team, and since then has worked in several positions, including R&D Strategy Director and Head of Business Operations in Global Clinical Development at GSK Vaccines in Belgium. Strange currently supervises initiatives like setting up GSK’s open lab and the Tres Cantos Open Lab Foundation in Madrid, as well as the Africa NCD Open Lab.
Mike Taylor

Mike Taylor

Mike Taylor is the director at the International Land Coalition. Having worked with the Botswana government and UNDP, Mike joined ILC in 2006 and became director of the secretariat in 2015. His passion for land rights grew out of his upbringing in a small village in Botswana, which ingrained a firm conviction in him that land rights are fundamental to building a more just and inclusive world. He holds a doctorate in social anthropology and a bachelor’s degree in environmental science.

Mikkel Vestergaard is the CEO and owner of Vestergaard, a global company dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable people, especially those living in developing countries. Vestergaard follows a “humanitarian entrepreneurship” business model and produces game-changing solutions to fight malaria, waterborne and neglected tropical diseases, and hunger and malnutrition.

Mima Nedelcovych

Mima Nedelcovych is the president and CEO of the Initiative for Global Development. Prior to joining IGD, Nedelcovych was the chairman of Schaffer International. He served in the administration of U.S. President George Bush as the executive director to the African Development Bank. Before his appointment to AfDB, he was principal at Arthur Young's International Consulting Group, which specializes in private investments in Africa. Nedelcovych also served as Peace Corps country director in Gabon and as special assistant to the assistant administrator for Africa at the U.S. Agency for International Development. He was also a special projects officer at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency.

Minakshi Dewan is an independent researcher and author based in Gurugram, India. Her work has appeared in several Indian and international publications. She possesses years of grassroots experience in women’s health, gender, and community mobilization in rural India. She has contributed chapters to academic volumes. Minakshi is currently writing a nonfiction book with HarperCollins, India.

Minal Bopaiah

Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Minal Bopaiah is a writer, editor and media consultant at Brevity & Wit. Minal has held consultancy positions at a number of international media outlets, including The International, a startup website committed to fostering nonviolent conflict resolution though ethical reporting, and MediaGlobal, a United Nations-affiliated news agency dedicated to reporting on development in the global South.

Mindy Neiman

Mindy Neiman is responsible for the Merck for Mothers supply chain and family planning portfolios, and has worked with MfM since December 2017. Merck for Mothers is Merck’s 10-year $500 million initiative to help create a world where no woman dies giving life. Merck for Mothers is known as MSD for Mothers outside the United States and Canada.
Mireille Evagora-Campbell

Mireille Evagora-Campbell

Mireille Evagora-Campbell is a researcher at Global Health 50/50 where she promotes gender equality and health equity. Her independent research areas include human rights, conflict-related sexual violence, transitional justice, and intersectional and post-colonial feminist analyses of these domains. She holds degrees from Cambridge University’s Department of Philosophy and University College London’s Department of Political Science.
