Dr. Nidhi Singal is a Reader in Education at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge. She has worked extensively in the field of disability and education, focusing on children/young people with disabilities and their families, in Southern contexts. She leads on disability issues in the ESRC-DFID Impact Initiative.

Nigel Chapman is the chief executive officer of Plan International. Prior to Plan, he held various senior positions in news and current affairs with the BBC, spanning more than 30 years. He was the director of the BBC World Service and was the first director of BBC Online. He also served as the chair of BCC World Service Trust, the service's charitable arm, which uses communications and new technologies to aid development in some of the world's poorest countries.

Since joining in 2006, Nigel has overseen the expansion of its child-focused development programs in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea and Vietnam, as well as continuing aid and development work through ChildFund Alliance partners in Africa, Asia and the Americas. Prior to his role at ChildFund, he was CEO of the Association of Children's Welfare Agencies, and director of children and youth services with Centacare.

Development Program, the International Labor Organization and the International Population Council.

As part of the Climate Group at Chemonics, he delivers actionable, user-centric climate information, while designing analytical approaches to help address decision-making challenges in the face of uncertainty. Prior to joining Chemonics, he served as the research director at Four Twenty Seven and Moody’s. He has provided contextual climate vulnerability assessments and facilitated climate change trainings in South and Southeast Asia, South Africa, Latin America, and cities throughout North America and Europe.
