Having worked with organizations in the area of development since 2004, she has assisted several Indian companies in bidding for international development projects. Her areas of interest include microfinance and education and livelihoods in rural India.

Nikki Locke is the senior relationship manager for Culture Responds, supporting the British Council’s work in arts and culture for sustainable development. She brings over 15 years of experience developing strategies and delivering programs in the United Kingdom and internationally, which enhance the role and value of culture across society in a people-centered, inclusive, and sustainable way. Locke led Cultural Heritage for Inclusive Growth, an action research initiative exploring ways in which community cultural heritage can bring prosperity and well-being to local life.

Nikolai Astrup has served as minister of digitalization in Norway since January 2019. He is a member of the U.N. Secretary-General’s High-level Panel on Digital Cooperation. From January 2018 to January 2019, Astrup served as minister of international development. Astrup holds a master's degree in European politics and governance and a bachelor's degree in international relations, both from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Nilupa Gunaratna

Nilupa Gunaratna is an associate professor of public health at Purdue University. A statistician by training, she has worked in global public health and nutrition for 18 years. Gunaratna’s research, teaching, and professional engagement focus on food systems, food security, and nutrition for at-risk populations, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Her research aims to develop and evaluate interventions that equitably and sustainably improve food security and nutrition, while promoting rigorous and ethical quantitative methods.
