Olimar Maisonet-Guzman

Olimar Maisonet-Guzman works is policy coordinator for IREX’s Center for Collaborative Technologies where she explores the use of emerging technologies such as drones, data and new media in international development and citizen engagement. Previously, she worked worked at the U.S. State Department and as a policy coordinator for the United Nations Rio+20 and the post-2015 negotiations.
Oliver Subasinghe

Oliver Subasinghe

Oliver joined Devex in late 2008 as an international development correspondent and researcher. He previously served as a microfinance fellow for Kiva in Kenya and Uganda. During his tenure, he worked with Kiva’s field partners to improve their operations and governance. Oliver holds a master's in business from the College of William & Mary.

Olivia Caldwell is a principal at the Affordable Housing Institute, where she is currently leading housing programs across sub-Saharan Africa, Haiti, and the South Pacific. Olivia has a decade of experience in housing finance, housing public-private partnerships, post-disaster reconstruction, and sustainable construction. She is passionate about finding sustainable solutions to solve our global housing crisis.

Olivia is a Senior Editorial Associate and Reporter at Devex. Based in our Barcelona office, she mainly works with bringing partnerships content to life in different formats. She holds degrees in communications, political sciences, and international relations, and developed a passion for global development while studying and working in different parts of the world. Prior to joining Devex, she worked in Brussels on communications related to European Union-funded development projects.

Olivia Wilkinson

Olivia Wilkinson, Ph.D., is director of research for the Joint Learning Initiative on Faith and Local Communities, or JLI, a network on research and learning around faith actors’ roles in the humanitarian and development sectors. She directs JLI’s research work, collaborating with U.N. agencies, governments, NGOs, and universities alike. She published the book "Secular and Religious Dynamics in Humanitarian Response" with Routledge in early 2020 and recently co-edited a new volume titled “International Development and Local Faith Actors: Ideological and Cultural Encounters.”

Olivier Adam is the executive coordinator of United Nations Volunteers. He served as the United Nations Development Programme deputy regional director and deputy assistant administrator of the regional bureau for Europe, Commonwealth of Independent States. Prior to this, Adam was manager of the UNDP Bratislava Regional Centre and UN resident coordinator/UNDP resident representative in Ukraine.

Olivier’s 17+ years of experience working in Africa makes him savvy in navigating local challenges and influencing strategic partnerships to achieve sustainable health outcomes. As a director in VillageReach private sector engagement group, Olivier develops and manages strategic partnerships with the private sector. He also leads the outsourced drone transport programs in Mozambique, Malawi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the Central African Republic.

An academic specialized in economic and social rights, he was the U.N. special rapporteur on the right to food from 2008 to 2014, and a member of the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights from 2015 to 2020.

Olivier Ray heads the French Development Agency’s crisis prevention and post-conflict recovery unit since January 2014. He was previously diplomatic adviser to French minister Marisol Touraine and has served in the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in AFD's Middle East and North Africa department, and the United Nations’ Department of Peacekeeping Operations and Security Council Report.
