Paurvi Bhatt is the vice president of Medtronic Philanthropy and president of Medtronic Foundation, leading the philanthropic and community affairs strategies of Medtronic, PLC. Bhatt is a seasoned global health and development leader, with a distinguished career delivering innovative and successful cross-disciplinary solutions to challenging issues of scale and sustainability. Her focus includes strategic philanthropy and investment; corporate social responsibility; health benefit reimbursement, and partnership design particularly in emerging markets and resource poor settings.

Pawel Mania

Pawel Mania brings more than 15 years of experience working across development and humanitarian nexus. As deputy director for Transformational Response, he oversees a portfolio of capacity strengthening and research programs aiming to deliver sustainable humanitarian response in Ukraine and neighboring countries that reinforces civil society, advocates for transformational impact, and provides learning on shifting power for other global responses. Pawel is an expert in research and evaluation. He focuses on resilience of diverse communities affected by conflict and crisis and inclusion policies. He graduated from the University of Sussex, University of Copenhagen, and University of Gdansk.

Payal Dalal

Payal is head of education and girls programs globally for Standard Chartered, overseeing all programs related to youth and SME financial education, financial inclusion and workforce development. She manages the bank's flagship program, Goal, which engages and empowers adolescent girls through sport. Payal joined Standard Chartered in July 2008 as the head of public affairs for the Americas. She has a professional background in international philanthropy and politics.

In over 10 years at PATH, Peder Digre has contributed to innovative initiatives supporting the development, evaluation, and introduction of tools and technologies to advance health equity. He has technical experience in epidemiological studies, monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, and health economics across malaria, HIV, and maternal and child health.

Pedro Conceição

Pedro Conceição is director at UNDP's Human Development Report Office and lead author of the Human Development Report. Previously, Conceição was director of strategic policy at the Bureau for Policy and Programme Support and chief economist and head of the strategic advisory unit at the Regional Bureau for Africa at UNDP. He also served as director at the Office of Development Studies.

Peggy Ochandarena

Peggy Ochandarena is director of the monitoring, evaluation and learning at Chemonics. In addition to developing Chemonics’ M&E policies and procedures, she has managed and provided technical assistance on international development projects in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.

Pei-Chieh Fong

Pei-Chieh Fong is the Vice President, Medical for AstraZeneca and currently leads more than 75 countries across Asia, Middle East and Africa, Latin America, Australia, and Russia. Pei-Chieh is focused on transforming health outcomes through innovation, leveraging transformative science to bring life-changing medications and treatments to patients. During her career at AstraZeneca, Pei-Chieh has covered the entire range of diseases and molecules and previously lead the International Oncology team. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Pei-Chieh held roles at Roche, Pfizer, and Novartis, covering areas including infectious disease, cardiovascular diseases, immunology as well as oncology.

Dr. Pelin İncesu is the area vice president for the Middle East and Africa region at AstraZeneca. Pelin has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She leads strategy and operations and is responsible for delivering against AstraZeneca’s commitment in MEA to improve the lives of millions of patients across the region, collaboratively with partners, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and therapy area leadership.

His works have appeared in Al Jazeera, The Guardian, the Thomson Reuters Foundation, NPR, Foreign Policy, and elsewhere. He holds a B.A. in History and International Studies from the University of Ilorin.

Penjani Mkambula

Penjani Mkambula is global program lead for food fortification at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition. He manages the provision of technical assistance to GAIN programs focusing on reaching 1 billion people with fortified foods by 2022, as well as supporting other partners globally on food fortification His current project portfolio spans across public private partnerships, food fortification, food safety, and supply-chain management. Mkambula serves on the board of the Food Fortification Initiative and the steering committee of the Partnership for Aflatoxin Control in Africa.
