Peter Rundlet

As vice president of AARP International, Peter Rundlet develops and executes AARP's international strategy to position AARP as the global thought leader on aging. Before joining AARP, Rundlet was the director of international strategy for the Obama Foundation, and he previously served as deputy staff secretary to former U.S. President Barack Obama. Previously, Rundlet was vice president for international policy at the Center for American Progress, and he was counsel on the 9/11 Commission and associate counsel to former President Bill Clinton. Rundlet was also an attorney for the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras.
Peter Sands

Peter Sands

Peter Sands became executive director of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in March 2018. A passionate advocate for global health, Sands leads work at the Global Fund to end epidemics and build stronger health systems. Sands served as chief executive of Standard Chartered Bank from 2006 to 2015, and in recent years has immersed himself in global health issues. He supports more international and domestic investments for greater global health security, and he often highlights the economic impact of infectious diseases.

Peter Schultz

Peter Schultz, Ph.D., is ICF’s vice president of climate adaptation and resilience as well as an ICF Climate Center senior fellow. With more than 25 years of experience, Peter is a specialist in climate and global change research, helping companies and governments understand and address climate risks through science-based solutions. Peter manages and contributes to projects on climate-resilient development for the U.S. Agency for International Development, and recently authored the international chapter in the U.S. National Climate Assessment.
Peter Small

Peter Small

Peter Small is the founding director of the Global Health Institute at Stony Brook University. His notable expertise includes seminal work on clinical, epidemiologic, evolutionary, and genetic aspects of tuberculosis. He has deep expertise in translating cutting-edge science into drugs, diagnostics and vaccines as well as the business and public health processes to get innovative tools to those in need. He currently leads the Global Health Institute’s health science research that spans from the molecular level to point of delivery, and encompasses fundamental work on ecology, developmental economics, and disease, largely focused on Madagascar.

He provides expert advice to government and other public service organizations on delivery, capability, performance and reform. His career has switched between senior leadership roles in all levels of public service and researching what works in public service reform with the aim of providing actionable insights for practitioners in the field.
