Anna van 't Noordende

Anna van ’t Noordende is a program support and Ph.D. research officer for No Leprosy Remains’ PEP++ project, a study — or clinical trial, depending on the group — that aims to provide new tools to stop the transmission of leprosy. Her Ph.D. study focuses on the social and psychological impact of leprosy and leprosy-related stigma and interventions to reduce this impact at individual, family, and community levels.

Anna Zimmermann Jin joined the Skoll Foundation in 2016 and currently serves as manager on the Analysis & Insight team. She is responsible for managing the foundation's research agenda, producing intelligence on the issue areas, geographies, and ecosystems the foundation's awardees operate in, and assessing the impact of Skoll's portfolio to support ongoing learning and evidence-based decision making.

Prior to joining Devex in 2015, Anne was the managing editor at the Center for American Progress. She has previously held positions at CNN, the U.S. Department of State, and Cambridge Associates. She earned a bachelor’s degree in international affairs and Asian studies from George Washington University, including a semester abroad at Peking University in Beijing.

With over a decade of experience at the intersection of technology, design, and public policy, Anne has worked with the Clinton Health Access Initiative, Rwanda’s Ministry of Health, and IDEO. She has designed health technologies alongside communities in Rwanda, Kenya, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, India, and the United States. Anne holds degrees from Stanford University, Parsons School of Design, and Oxford University, and is passionate about scaling well-designed technology to improve global health outcomes.

Anne Stangl is a senior behavioral scientist at the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW). In this role, she develops strategies and coordinate efforts to improve health outcomes for women, girls and marginalized populations by reducing stigma and promoting human rights. Stangl is also director of the Stigma Action Network secretariat.
