Peter A. Singer is a professor emeritus at the University of Toronto, co-founder of the University of Toronto Joint Centre for Bioethics and Grand Challenges Canada, and former special adviser to the director-general of WHO. He is a skier, writer, and board member.

Peter Muchiri Ngatia

Dr. Peter Muchiri Ngatia is the director of capacity building at AMREF Health Africa. Since joining the organisation about 28 years ago, he has held several key positions including acting director general, director of programmes, country director and chief technical advisor. He is a board member of the Global Health Workforce Alliance and chairs the Africa Health Leadership and Management Network.
Petra Bayr

Petra Bayr

Petra Bayr is the Social Democrat Party — SPÖ spokesperson for global development and a member of the Austrian parliament since 2002. In 2012, she became Vice President of the European Parliamentary Forum on Population and Development and is a member of the advisory group on HIV/AIDS and maternal and child health with the Inter Parliamentarian Union. Bayr is also a founding member of the Austrian Platform Against Female Genital Mutilation.

Petra Heitkamp is a community manager/director at the McGill International TB Centre, managing the TBPPM Learning Network, an online community engaging private health providers in tuberculosis care and prevention. She has 25 years of experience in international health and worked at the Stop TB Partnership and WHO based in India and Indonesia. She was involved in forging partnerships and creating advocacy strategies among stakeholders from global agencies to grassroots tribal leaders.

Petra Klassen

Dr. Petra Klassen holds a Ph.D. in nutrition from the University in Hohenheim, Stuttgart, Germany. In November 2013, she joined the Nestlé Corporate Nutrition, Health and Wellness Unit as scientific advisor working on strategic corporate initiatives such as the Micronutrient Fortification Strategy or United for Healthier Kids, an initiative aiming at helping parents to improve the eating, drinking and lifestyle habits of children, from conception to 12 years of age.

Petra Laux

Petra Laux is head of business sustainability for Syngenta Crop Protection, a global leader in plant health innovation, helping growers improve farm productivity and sustainability. In her role, Petra leads a global team responsible for sustainable and responsible use of Syngenta CP technologies, accelerating innovation. Her team is also responsible for public affairs and public policy as well as regulatory for the crop protection business unit. Petra is a senior public affairs leader with over 25 years of experience in the research based pharmaceutical industry. Petra holds a master’s in public health, a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical chemistry, and is a trained pharmacist.

Petra Schmitter

Petra Schmitter is a researcher at the International Water Management Institute. Her expertise include designing climate-smart agricultural water management interventions and assessing the impact of agricultural intensification on watershed hydrology and bio(geo)chemical fluxes. She is currently working in Southeast Asia and East Africa and leads several projects on agricultural water management solutions in Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Myanmar as a member of the Building Resilience team.

Phelisha Midy

Phelisha Midy is a native New Yorker with a passion for international development and economics. Midy has worked in various countries, including India, Senegal, Haiti, and Mozambique, where she focused on economic policy issues to enable better trade and investment opportunities for enhanced economic growth and development. Midy is a graduate of Howard University and received her master’s in International Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
Phil Cruver

Phil Cruver

Phil Cruver is a social entrepreneur and president of KZO Education, which specializes in developing media-rich platforms for social networking and online training and collaboration. KZO Education is a subcontractor for the ED-LINKS $90 million USAID program to assist education in Pakistan, and has recently partnered with an interdisciplinary team of international scientists, ocean engineers, and educational professionals to introduce sustainable mariculture training and pilot projects in developing countries. Phil is also developing a pioneering project for restoring the native Olympia oyster into bays and estuaries along the Southern California Coast.

"Phil Evans interned with Devex in 2008 while pursuing a master´s degree in international relations at the Barcelona Institute of International Studies. He holds a bachelor's degree with honors in modern languages (Chinese, Spanish) and a postgraduate diploma in Asian and Pacific studies. Phil has volunteered in a conservation project in Guatemala and taught English in China and Peru. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and proficient in Chinese, Catalan and French. "
