Her leadership has mobilized $40 billion to advance the rights of girls and women worldwide.

Costanza has been instrumental in reshaping the foundation's strategy and introducing innovative financing vehicles, like the first Development Impact Bond.
Pia Wanek

Pia Wanek

Pia Wanek is director of humanitarian assistance at Global Communities, which works closely with communities to help them recover and eventually rebuild in the wake of both man-made and natural disasters. She has directed the team's response for a variety of crises, including the West African Ebola epidemic, the 2014 war in Gaza, and the ongoing Syrian conflict. Wanek has more than 12 years of experience in the donor community and the NGO world.

Pierre Ferrari joined Heifer International in 2010 with more than 40 years of business experience. He worked for many years at Coca-Cola USA, before deciding in 1995 to focus his energy and business acumen on social issues. Ferrari is a former chair and board member of Ben and Jerry’s Homemade Ice Cream and a former board member of the Small Enterprise Assistance Fund. He received a master’s degree in economics from the University of Cambridge and a master's of business administration from Harvard Business School.

The climate change division is in charge of driving and managing the AFD’s strategy and activities in the fight against climate change. Pierre also participates in the international negotiations on climate change.

Since then he has worked in MMV to support the introduction and uptake of life-saving antimalarials in affected countries, with a focus on supporting policy adoption, fair pricing, regulatory approval, procurement, and good quality of malaria medicines. Pierre has a broad background, spanning form the pharmaceutical industry to public health, from experience in patient care to research and management of health programs, especially in Africa.

Before AFD, Jacquet was deputy director at the French Institute on International Relations where he was responsible for the economic program and was editor-in-chief of IFRI's Politique Etrangère.

Pierre Krähenbühl

Pierre Krähenbühl has been the director-general of the International Committee of the Red Cross since April 2024, steering the organization's global humanitarian activities and its 18,000 staff members in more than 100 countries. With over 30 years in the sector, he has held senior roles, including director of operations (2002–2014) and personal adviser to the ICRC president. He has extensive experience in conflict zones across multiple continents. Krähenbühl holds a master’s in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.
Pierre Micheletti

Pierre Micheletti

Pierre Micheletti is the chairman of Action Against Hunger-France. Micheletti has been an advocate for humanitarian causes for many years. He studied medicine and in 1996 became director of programs for Médecins du Monde France and then president from 2006 to 2009. Since 2009, he has been teaching at the Political Sciences Institute in Grenoble, France. In 2014, he was elected to the board of Action Against Hunger and became chairman in June 2019.
