Pierre Salignon joined the Health and Social Protection Division at Agence Française de Développement as a project manager in early October 2013. His responsibilities include the follow-up of projects for Chad, the Comoros and Indian Ocean. A lawyer by training, he has been working for international solidarity and public health in fragile countries for over 20 years. His previous positions include executive director of the association Doctors of the World in France, project manager for the World Health Organization and executive director of the French Section of Doctors Without Borders.

Pierre Moreau-Péron

Pierre Moreau-Péron joined UNOPS as director of the Human Resources Practice Group in January 2010. Pierre has extensive experience in HR, including 20 years in the private sector, mostly in the communications sector in Europe and Africa. Before joining the United Nations, he was the international HR director for Wanadoo, the second largest Internet provider in Europe. Since 2004, he has led the learning and career management branch of UNFPA, New York. He is a graduate in political studies from Sciences Po in Paris, France.

He is the focal point in charge of digital issues in urban development and also deals with a portfolio of urban operations in Egypt, Ethiopia and Myanmar that AFD is financing.

Polly Dunford is president and CEO at IntraHealth International. She has almost 20 years of experience with the U.S. Agency for International Development in Cambodia, Haiti, Jordan, Mozambique, Nigeria, and Washington, most recently serving as global director for HIV/AIDS. In this role, she led the agency’s efforts to help countries achieve and sustain epidemic control of HIV/AIDS under the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.
