Rachel Kyte

Rachel Kyte is chief executive officer of Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) and special representative of the U.N. Secretary-General for Sustainable Energy for All. A leading advocate for sustainable development and recipient of many awards, she drives SEforALL’s work to mobilize action towards its 2030 goals on universal energy access, energy efficiency, and renewable energy. As SRSG, she is the U.N. point person for the new global goal on sustainable energy.

Rachel Long

Rachel Long is head of marketing and communications at World Child Cancer where she leads global engagement and advocacy focused on childhood cancer. She is an experienced communications and policy professional with a background in international development and public health, having worked across the Middle East, Central Asia, and the United States. Rachel has helped develop high-level partnerships with ministries of health, WHO, and global nongovernmental organizations and holds a master’s degree in Anthropology and Development from the London School of Economics.

Rachel McMonagle is a climate justice and land rights advocate and practitioner, with experience advancing climate resilience efforts with a social justice focus through nonprofit and U.S. government initiatives. As Landesa’s climate change and land tenure programmatic lead, Rachel develops capacity to implement land tenure as a climate mitigation and adaptation strategy to advance interventions that yield positive outcomes for communities and the environment alike.

Rachel Moré-Oshodi

Rachel Moré-Oshodi is a seasoned leader in project finance and global strategy, with over two decades shaping infrastructure across energy and ICT. She has led over $7 billion in projects promoting sustainable access in emerging markets. Her career spans AES Corporation, the Inter-American Development Bank, IFC, Rand Merchant Bank, and TotalEnergies.
Rachel Robinson

Rachel Robinson

Rachel Sullivan Robinson, associate professor in the School of International Service at American University, studies global health interventions in sub-Saharan Africa, including family planning, HIV/AIDS, and sexuality education. Her book, Intimate Interventions in Global Health, was just published by Cambridge University Press in 2017. Her current projects relate to politicized homophobia and the extent of social science knowledge on NGOs. Her research has been funded by the MacArthur Foundation, the Council of American Overseas Research Centers, and the National Science Foundation.

Rachel Silverman

Rachel Silverman

Rachel Silverman is a policy analyst at the Center for Global Development focusing on global health financing and incentive structures. During previous work at the Center as a global health research assistant from 2011 to 2013, she contributed to research and analysis on value for money and measurement in global health, among other topics. Before joining CGD, Silverman spent two years supporting democratic strengthening and good governance programs in Kosovo.

Rachel Thrasher is a researcher with the Global Economic Governance Initiative at the Boston University Global Development Policy Center. She holds a Juris Doctor and a master’s degree in International Relations, both from Boston University. She is the author of the book “Constraining Development: The Shrinking of Policy Space in the International Trade Regime” published by Anthem Press in 2021.
