Rajendra Kumar Pachauri

R K Pachauri has chaired the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change since 2002. Under his tenure, IPCC was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 for its work on climate change issues. Pachauri also serves as director of Yale University’s Climate and Energy Institute, and as director general of The Energy and Resources Institute, which launched the “Lighting a Billion Lives” initiative in 2005 to expand the use of solar power in rural India.

Dr. Rajiv Shah is the administrator for the U.S. Agency for International Development. He has served as undersecretary for research, education and economics and as chief scientist at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Prior to joining the Obama administration, Shah served as the director of agricultural development at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's Global Development Program. He also served as the foundation’s director of strategic opportunities and as the deputy director of policy and finance for the Global Health Program.

Ramil Burden

Ramil Burden is vice president, Africa and developing countries at GlaxoSmithKline, where he leads communications, public health and access programs for Africa in addition to being in charge of the company's operations in South and Southeast Asia. He has also served as head of corporate strategy and secretary to GSK's executive team and head of the office of the CEO. Prior to this, he worked as industry adviser to the U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair.
Ramya Ambikapathi

Ramya Ambikapathi

Ramya Ambikapathi is a nutrition epidemiologist and a research scientist at Purdue University in the department of public health. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Harvard School of Public Health evaluating nutrition-sensitive agriculture intervention in Ethiopia. She received her master’s and doctorate from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She has a bachelor’s degree in environmental science with a focus on aquatic and terrestrial ecology. Her research broadly focuses on how environmental and ecological factors translate to poor nutrition outcomes, and efforts to mitigate these negative impacts.

She is a medical doctor with a postgraduate master's degree in community medicine. She has been working for the last 14 years in the field of tuberculosis.

Rana Dajani is currently a Richard Von Weizsacker Fellow, Robert Bosch Academy, Germany A former visiting Professor at MIT, Harvard and Cambridge, International Science Council Fellow and a Morse Yale Fellow. Rana is a molecular biologist, social entrepreneur, and global thought leader. She is the founder of We Love Reading, a grassroots initiative to create changemakers in underserved communities by fostering a lifelong love of reading. A recipient of the UNESCO International Literacy Prize, We Love Reading has established more than 4,000 locally run libraries in over 60 countries. Rana has also been recognized as a Fulbright fellow, Eisenhower fellow, and Ashoka fellow by joining the list of the 100 most influential Arab women as well as receiving several awards.
