Rebeca Gyumi

Rebeca Gyumi, is the founder and executive director of the Msichiana Initiative, an organization which aims to empower girls through education in Tanzania and stop child marriages. Rebeca has, this year, successfully petitioned the High Court of Tanzania to outlaw child marriage and she is now continuing her work to implement this change at the community level throughout Tanzania.

Rebecca Alban

As a senior manager of health systems, Rebecca Alban leads the health workforce development at VillageReach, a global health organization that works with governments, the private sector, partners, and communities to build responsive primary health care systems that deliver health products and services to the most underreached. Rebecca has co-authored multiple research publications related to the role of CHWs as vaccinators and is an active participant on the Community Health Impact Coalition. She has lived and worked in Africa, South America, the U.S., and currently resides in Spain.

Rebecca Hasbun

Rebecca Hasbun is a senior program associate at IRI, where she has worked on closed and closing spaces, conflict prevention and stabilization, and youth programs. Prior to joining IRI, she was a research assistant at a think tank focusing on U.S.-Turkey foreign policy. Hasbun has field experience in Latin America and the Middle East. She holds a master's in political science from Villanova University and an MBA from American University.

Rebecca Holland is a reporter currently based in Louisiana. Her work has appeared in The Washington Post, The Guardian, The Independent, The Advocate/Times-Picayune, and more. She was a Pulitzer fellow in 2021 and has reported from dozens of countries. Previously, Rebecca was based in Iraq and Jordan.

Rebecca Martin

Rebecca Martin is the director of the global immunization division at the Center for Global Health in the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She leads theagency's global polio eradication efforts, accelerated disease control for vaccine-preventable diseases, and strengthening the delivery of immunization services. She began her career with CDC in 1997 and has held positions both domestically and globally in immunization and HIV/AIDS.

Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akufo-Addo

Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akufo-Addo is the first lady of Ghana as the wife of President Nana Akufo-Addo. She was inaugurated as a nutrition champion for the African Leaders for Nutrition in 2018, an initiative that is part of eight flagship programs launched under the African Development Bank’s High 5 priorities. She is the founder of The Rebecca Foundation and a founding member and chairperson of the charity Infanta Malaria Prevention Foundation founded in 2005.
