Reeta Roy is president and CEO at the Mastercard Foundation. Under Reeta’s leadership, the foundation has focused its work on Africa since 2009; committed to a goal of ensuring 75% of its partners are African organizations; and based the majority of the foundation’s operations, staff, and leadership, including Reeta herself, in Africa. Reeta was previously divisional vice president of global citizenship and policy at Abbott and vice president at the Abbott Fund. She holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University and seven honorary doctorates.

Rein Paulsen was appointed by the director-general of the Food and Agriculture Organization as director of the Office of Emergencies and Resilience in June 2021. Prior to joining FAO, Paulsen served as director ad interim of the coordination division at UNOCHA in Geneva. In this role, he had responsibility for the response services branch, the assessment planning and monitoring branch, as well as the interagency services branch. Paulsen also brings extensive field experience within the NGO sector.
