Romy Blickle

Romy Blickle earned her master's by graduating with honors from the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich, where she studied political science, law and economic geography. She has served as a cultural ambassador in seven cities around India and has been active in the Model United Nations Program for several years. After her fellowship with Devex in Barcelona from June 2007 to September 2007, she was placed with Caritas' humanitarian assistance department and later EuropeAID. Later, she served on contract with Malteser International in Sri Lanka. Romy speaks German as her mother tongue and is fluent in English.

Prior to joining Yahoo, Ron was the director of the Information Processing Technology Office at DARPA; before that he held various research leadership and management positions at AT&T, both at Bell Laboratories and AT&T Labs.
