To date, Mumspring has created over 20 jobs in Africa and has served five countries across 3 continents.

Achim Steiner

Achim Steiner has been the administrator of the U.N. Development Programme since 2017. Steiner is also the vice-chair of the U.N. Sustainable Development Group, which unites 40 entities of the U.N. system that work to support sustainable development. Prior to joining UNDP, he was director of the Oxford Martin School and professorial fellow of Balliol College, University of Oxford. He led the U.N. Environment Programme from 2006 to 2016, helping governments invest in clean technologies and renewable energy.

Prior to starting Arable Labs, Adam was a researcher and professor at Princeton University, received his B.S. and M.S. from University of California Davis in international agriculture and Ph.D. from Stanford University.

Ishtiaq is an expert in health financing reform to expand Universal Health Coverage and design sustainable financing for priority health areas. His work spans noncommunicable diseases, rehabilitation services, safe blood transfusions, and the integration of mental health and psychosocial services in primary health care.
