Prior to joining MSD, she worked on a range of infectious diseases at the Sabin Vaccine Institute, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the University of California, San Francisco, in the U.S. and across the Asia-Pacific region.

Anuradha Gupta joined the Sabin Vaccine Institute in October 2022 as president of global immunization. A veteran public health leader, Anuradha has in her previous roles spearheaded a host of successful global initiatives to improve the health of women and children and harness the full power of vaccines. Her work has created a profound impact at a global scale, saving and improving millions of lives. Prior to Sabin, Anuradha spent several years at Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance, as its deputy CEO.

Anuradha Khanal is the regional director of Southeast Asia at the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids and manages the drowning prevention program for Vietnam at the Global Health Advocacy Incubator. Prior to this role, Anu was the country lead for road safety work in Tanzania and India, drowning prevention in Vietnam, and the maternal and reproductive health program in Tanzania.

Anuradha Varanasi is a freelance science journalist based in Mumbai, India. She covers climate change and health care. A journalist with more than five years experience, she has worked at several newspapers in India and holds a master’s in science journalism at The Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York City.

Anurag Hans leads the Base of Pyramid innovation, strategy, and operation team at Essilor International. The BoP innovation, strategy, and operation team work transversely across the inclusive business, philanthropy, and advocacy functions of Essilor to incubate and test innovations, inclusive business models, solutions, partnerships, and innovative financing mechanisms to address the needs of the 2.7 billion people around the world who don’t have access to good vision today.

Aparna Das is the technical program manager of the Global Maize Program at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Centre, based in Nairobi, Kenya. She is a plant breeder with 25 years of experience of working in various technical and management positions.

Professor Appolinaire Djikeng is the director general of the International Livestock Research Institute and CGIAR senior director of livestock-based systems. He was formerly professor and chair of tropical agriculture and sustainable development at the University of Edinburgh.
