Roy Williams

Howard (Roy) Williams is an adjunct assistant professor at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs in New York City. He has also lectured at the Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California; the American University in Washington, D.C.; and the University Swiss Italia in Lugano, Switzerland. He has designed and led crisis preparedness and response simulations in various locations for the NOHA network of European universities, hosted in the Netherlands.

Rozita Halina Tun Hussein serves as a senior deputy director of the planning division within the Malaysia Ministry of Health. In her role, Rozita oversees the planning and implementation of health financing reforms for Malaysia’s health system, and most recently, the development of a nonprofit government-owned volunteer health insurance agency for 2018.

Rudaba Nasir is part of the International Finance Corporation’s gender secretariat and focuses on women’s employment. She previously worked on gender assessments, women’s capacity strengthening initiatives, gender project design and impact evaluations in her native Pakistan and across South Asia, Latin America and Africa. She is interested in effectively engaging the private sector to achieve women’s economic empowerment.

Rüdiger König

Rüdiger König is the director general for crisis prevention, stabilization, peace building and humanitarian assistance at the German Foreign Office in Berlin. He is leading this new directorate-general since its creation within the Foreign Office in March 2015. The creation of this directorate-general is one of the results of a broad public consultation and review process to strengthen the instruments of the German government in fragile contexts.

Rueanna Haynes is an expert in international climate law and governance and the director of Climate Analytics Caribbean. She has a strong background in multilateral environmental negotiations, having been a lead negotiator for CARICOM, AOSIS, and G77 and China in climate and sustainable development. Her negotiations experience also includes the Sustainable Development Goals, Financing for Development, the Convention on the Law of the Sea, as well as the SIDS sustainable development process.
