Sébastien Haslé

Sébastien Haslé is the chief executive officer of international organisations health at Cigna Healthcare. He has held this position since January 2024. He joined Cigna in 2008 and spent nine years as chief risk officer. He then was appointed managing director from May 2017 until the beginning of 2020, and chief financial officer until the beginning of 2024. Sébastien is responsible for the overall management, growth, and profitability of Cigna’s international organisation's health business. He leads this combined structure, which spans international organizations (IGOs and NGOs) and governments.

Sébastien Turbot is a French social entrepreneur who has served as the curator and the global director at Qatar Foundation's World Innovation Summit for Education since May 2012. He is also a fellow at the Royal Society for the encouragement of arts, manufactures and commerce, an advisory board member at Samuel Hall Consulting, an independent research and strategic consulting firm, and Turbot is an adjunct professor at the Paris School of International Affairs, Sciences-Po, Paris. Prior to this he worked as editorial director at TEDx Paris, and founded Sayara Strategies a social communication agency during the decade he spent in Afghanistan.

She works closely with Johnson & Johnson chief scientific officer and worldwide chairman of pharmaceuticals, Dr. Paul Stoffels, as well as communication leaders in Corporate and R&D. Seema also serves as the communication leader for the Worldwide R&D Council and several innovation centers.

He is a recipient of numerous national, continental, and global recognition for his engagements in peace, security, and development matters.

Dr. Sema Sgaier is co-founder and executive director of Surgo Foundation, a privately funded action tank whose mission is combining a customer obsessed agenda with a thinking in systems to solve complex global development problems. She works at the intersection of behavior, data, and technology. Previously at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, she led large-scale health programs in India and Africa. She is faculty at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She was selected as a Rising Talent by the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society. Sema has a Ph.D. in neuroscience.
