Arlene Mitchell

Arlene Mitchell is the executive director of the Global Child Nutrition Foundation, or GCNF, working with a global network of stakeholders to ensure that children around the world have nutritious, locally-sourced meals at school. She is spearheading GCNF's global survey of school meal programs, which is being implemented in 2019. Mitchell also advises or serves on boards for several other international food, agriculture, and nutrition-focused organizations.
Armida Alisjahbana

Armida Alisjahbana

Armida S. Alisjahbana has served as the Indonesian minister of national development planning since 2009. Before heading the agency known as BAPPENAS, Armida was an economics professor and vice dean for academic affairs at Padjadjaran University in Bandung, Indonesia. Alisjahbana has worked as a researcher and consultant with the United Nations, World Bank, Asian Development Bank and European Commission, among other groups.
Armine Afeyan

Armine Afeyan

Armine Afeyan is a first-generation American with Armenian and Swedish nationalities. She serves as the executive director of the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative, leading teams in the U.S. and Armenia to support grassroots humanitarian leaders. Previously, Armine built a career in consumer tech, most recently Wayfair, as a general manager first in the U.K. and later in the U.S. Armine holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University, where she studied Political Science and rowed on the varsity crew team. She received her MBA from INSEAD.

Arnab Acharya

Arnab Acharya is currently an independent scholar. He has held several academic and consultancy positions including the post of senior lecturer at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. He has a Ph.D. in microeconomic theory and development economics and a master’s in public health.
Arnau Rovira

Arnau Rovira

Arnau Rovira is the knowledge management lead at Devex’s Analytics implementing information management solutions to the different data needs of the organization. He works remotely from Burundi. Previously, he worked in data collection management in Manila and as business intelligence analyst at Scytl, worldwide leader on electoral voting solutions. In his interest to the international and electoral affairs, he became an electoral observer. Until now, he has been deployed in Uruguay, Ukraine and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Arnaud Bernaert

Arnaud Bernaert is head of health security solutions at SICPA, and has more than 20 years of experience in the health care industry. He has completed some 25 M&A transactions, with a particular focus on targets in home health care, clinical decision support, imaging and image-guided intervention and treatment. He is the former senior vice-president at Royal Philips and joined the World Economic Forum as head senior director of global health and health care in 2014.
Arnaud Peral

Arnaud Peral

Arnaud Peral is country director of the United Nations Development Program in Colombia. He has worked for the last 20 years in Latin America and the Caribbean in areas such as sustainable human development, democratic governance, south-south cooperation, crisis and natural disaster prevention; conflict reduction and peace building. He has fostered key partnerships with governments, civil society, private sector, the Academia and international cooperation. Before his arrival to Colombia in 2014, he served in Brazil, Mexico, New York and Cuba.

Arne Pauwels is the founder and product manager of Wakati, a startup that aims to increase the income of smallholder farmers in developing countries by tapping into the huge resource of wasted food. Aron Betru

Aron Betru

Aron Betru is CEO of Financing for Development and managing director at Pledge Guarantee for Health. He is a specialist in innovative financing solutions for global development programs and a pioneer in guarantee-backed financing of public health commodities, facilitating millions of dollars in both commercial lending for malaria and trade financing for reproductive health. He has worked for Dalberg, McKinsey and Goldman Sachs. He is currently a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Arran Hamilton is group director of education at Cognition Education. Previously, he has held senior positions at Cambridge University Press & Assessment, Education Development Trust, the British Council, and a research fellowship at Warwick University. His core focus is on translating evidence into impact at scale, and he has overseen the design, delivery, and evaluation of education programs across Australia, East Asia, the Middle East, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, and the United Kingdom.
