Serufusa Sekidde

Serufusa Sekidde is a board member of the AMR Industry Alliance, a group of over 100 organizations from the biotech, diagnostics, generics, and research-based pharmaceutical industry, making it the largest private sector coalition committed to tackling antimicrobial resistance. He is a medical doctor and currently director of Antimicrobial Resistance Policy & Partnerships at GSK in London, U.K.

Seth Shames

Seth Shames is director of the Policy and Markets program, where he leads analysis of policies and financial mechanisms to support integrated agricultural landscape management and directs EcoAgriculture’s policy advocacy work. His areas of work have included payments for ecosystem services in agricultural landscapes, climate-smart agriculture, the integration of agricultural issues into the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, environment and development policies in East Africa, eco-labeling of agricultural products and sustainable biofuels production.

Shabnum Sarfraz

Shabnum Sarfraz is the global director for gender and health as well as the deputy executive director at Women in Global Health. She is a seasoned development professional with over 15 years of experience managing projects worth $1.2 billion and she leads social development efforts in Pakistan. She coordinates health, education, and social welfare initiatives, serving as a key liaison with government officials and international partners.

Shabtai Gold is a Senior Reporter based in Washington. He covers multilateral development banks, with a focus on the World Bank, along with trends in development finance. Prior to Devex, he worked for the German Press Agency, dpa, for more than a decade, with stints in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, before relocating to Washington to cover politics and business.

Shahd Fares

Shahd Fares is a Reach Alliance researcher from the 2020-2021 case study on Guatemala’s Healthy Pregnancy Project (HPP). She received her honors bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto with a double major in Neuroscience and Political Science. Shahd is currently completing her master’s degree at McGill University in Cognitive Neuroscience where she studies political information processing and decision making.

Shahra Razavi

Shahra Razavi joined U.N. Women as chief of research and data in June 2013. She specializes in the gender dimensions of social development, with a particular focus on livelihoods and social policies. Shahra was research coordinator at UNRISD from 1993 to 2013 where she led the institute’s research projects on gender.

Shahrashoub Razavi

Shahrashoub Razavi is the head of U.N. Women's Research and Data Section. She specializes in the gender dimensions of development, with a particular focus on livelihoods, agrarian issues, social policy and care dynamics. Before joining UN Women, Shahra led the Gender and Development Program at the U.N. Research Institute for Social Development.
Shaida Badiee

Shaida Badiee

Shaida Badiee is managing director of Open Data Watch, an NGO focused on monitoring and promoting open data in national statistical offices. She has been an active member of the United Nations Secretary General's advisory group on data revolution, co-chairs the Sustainable Development Solutions Network Data Network, and has played a key role with the startup of the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data. Shaida works closely with the Data2x team focused on closing gender data gaps. She brings several decades of experience in managing global development statistics as the long-time director of the World Bank's Development Data Group.
