Arthur Larok

Arthur Larok is the Federation Development Director at ActionAid International. He previously held the post of country director of ActionAid Uganda. He is the current chairperson of the Uganda National NGO Forum, the largest NGO platform in Uganda and has been instrumental in shaping nascent citizen movements against corruption an remains active in the growing struggle against various forms of injustices in the country. He has authored on a range of topics, including democracy, politics and civil society and emerging movements.

Dr. Arun Gupta is co-founder and central coordinator of the Breastfeeding Promotion Network of India, an affiliate of the International Baby Food Action Network for Asia. A member of the prime minister's Council for India’s Nutrition Challenges, Gupta gave up his private practice to promote breastfeeding and bring this issue to the forefront of social and political discussions in India and abroad.

She is an expert in the field of gender and development with over 30 years of experience in pioneering new approaches to gender and institutional change. She has consulted widely with a range of government, academic and development agencies.

Arush Lal is an international consultant for the Pan American Health Organization’s Strategic Fund, supporting the team to expand equitable access to essential medicines and supplies across the Americas region. Lal also serves as the board vice chair for Women in Global Health and a community and civil society representative for the Access to COVID-19 Tools Accelerator. He is a doctoral candidate researching global health politics and governance at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Asako Okai

Asako Okai

Ms. Asako Okai is United Nations assistant secretary-general and UNDP’s director for the Crisis Bureau. She leads UNDP’s corporate fragility-related work and drives UNDP’s vision and priorities for crisis prevention, response, and recovery. Ms. Okai has held Japan’s diplomatic senior positions worldwide and worked closely with the U.N. headquarters, both in the Permanent Mission of Japan to the U.N. and as a senior member of the Office of the President of the 66th U.N. General Assembly, most recently serving as consul-general of Japan in Vancouver, Canada.
Asako Osaki

Asako Osaki

After receiving a masters of international affairs, Asako joined U.N. Development Program and served as the program manager at the Bureau for Development Policy, specializing in the promotion of gender equity and women’s empowerment. Upon her return to Tokyo, she has been active in mainstreaming gender in Japan’s development assistance policies and programs, working with government, NGOs and research institutions. She is also a visiting professor at Kwansei Gakuin University and a board member of Plan International Japan.

Åsa Skogström Feldt

Åsa Skogström Feldt became president and CEO of The Hunger Project in September 2014, after serving as head of The Hunger Project in Sweden from 2004 to 2012 and on the national board in Sweden from 2012 to 2014. Previously, Åsa worked as a business leader at Ikea, where she established a new initiative through which Ikea supports social enterprises that are within their value chains through business partnerships. Åsa serves on the board of several organizations including Doers’ Event, Stratiteq Sweden AB, Women for Sustainable Growth and the Forum for Social Innovation Sweden.
