Prior to joining Dalberg, Sonila worked for McKinsey & Company, where she served organizations in the financial and media industries and the non-profit sector. She holds an MBA from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in economics from Harvard University.

Sonny Shergill is a biochemist by trade, with over 30 years of pharmaceutical experience ranging from marketing and sales to digital innovation. His passion lies in developing and leading diverse teams that deliver scientific advancements to patients, making a meaningful impact on their lives. Sonny has worked around the globe across a broad spectrum of medicines, serving all stages of the customer experience from pre‑launch to product maturity. In his current role, he leads the enablement of digital transformation for AstraZeneca’s commercial teams across all therapy areas and markets.

Sophia Peters

Sophia Peters is a senior consultant with Deloitte Consulting. She supports a variety of projects focused on international clients in emerging markets: clean energy policy, access to finance, electricity markets, and power project development. She specializes in financial, economic, and policy analysis, with a specific interest to how consumers make decisions. She has worked throughout Latin America, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and East Africa, as well as on federal-level U.S. domestic policy for the EPA and DOE. She also supports a number of diversity and inclusion efforts at Deloitte, primarily through involvement with the Hispanic Business Resource Group and her position on the board of directors for Ayuda.

Sophia Wirsching is a policy adviser on migration and development at Bread for the World, the German Protestant development service. She is member of the CONCORD Task Force on Migration and Development, on behalf of Venro, the umbrella organization of development NGOs in Germany. Sophia studied political science and sociology.

Sophie Faujour leads EVPA’s corporate initiative, connecting European corporate social investors and supporting them to scale their social impact, and leads market building efforts in France and Iberia. She is also part of the National Advisory Board for impact investing in France and various local networks. She sits on the board of nonprofit organizations like PHI TRUST Incubator, ARTICLE 1, and SIMPLON, and is part of the expert committee of SANOFI Espoir Foundation and Institut Pasteur. Before joining EVPA in 2016, Faujour occupied several senior positions at BNP Paribas.
