Her interests include technology for development, education, and impact evaluation. She has experience in rural China and urban India and is currently pursuing her MA in international economics and development at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Washington, D.C.

Susanto Yang was born in Pontianak, West Kalimantan. He graduated from Trisakti University, Jakarta, in management. His career in palm oil started more than 15 years ago. He joined Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food in 2007 and today, he is the CEO of the West Kalimantan plantations. He is also the vice chief of GAPKI (Indonesia Palm Oil Industry Association) for Public Policy Department.

As a global health researcher in Access to Medicine Foundation, Suvi is focusing on pharmaceutical donations. Parallel to pursuing a master's degree in public health at Lund University, Suvi has worked with various nongovernmental organizations, public institutes, U.N.-level and intergovernmental organization. From e-health to reproductive health, Suvi enjoys volunteering in mentorship, program development and building educational initiatives with other young global health colleagues. Previously, she has a clinical background as a public health nurse in Europe and Africa.
