Tais Gadea Lara

Tais Gadea Lara is a climate journalist from Argentina. She has been covering the climate negotiations and international politics since 2014. She is currently a climate explorer at the Constructive Institute. She is the author of the newsletter Planeta and collaborates in different media, such as the National Geographic, Climática La Marea, and Climate Tracker. In 2020, she created the Environmental Journalism Workshop to train more people in the communication of the climate and ecological crisis. For several years, she has been recognized as one of the 100 Latinos most committed to climate action.

Takehiko Nakao

Takehiko Nakao is the president of the Asian Development Bank and the chairperson of ADB's board of directors. He was elected president by ADB's board of governors and assumed office in April 2013. Before joining ADB, Mr. Nakao was the vice minister of finance for international affairs at the Ministry of Finance of Japan.

Taleb Rifai is the secretary-general of the World Tourism Organization, after having served as Deputy Secretary-General since 2006. Prior to his work at UNWTO, Rifai was the assistant director-general of the International Labor Organization and served in several ministerial portfolios in the government of Jordan, including Minister of Tourism and Antiquities.

Taleb Rifai has served as the secretary-general of the World Tourism Organization since January 2010. Mr. Rifai has an extensive background in international and national public service, the private sector and academia. He was assistant director general of the International Labour Organization, held several ministerial portfolios in Jordan (Planning and International Cooperation, Information and Tourism and Antiquities), CEO of Jordan’s Cement Company, director of the Economic Mission to Washington and director general of the Investment Promotion Corporation of Jordan.

Talia Smith is a manager in the infrastructure and climate change team at Adam Smith International, with a background in climate change and environmental policy. She is currently a program manager for the DfID-funded Infrastructure and Cities for Economic Development program, which supports DfID in the design of urban and infrastructure technical assistance programs to deliver inclusive and resilient economic growth.

Tam Nguyen has over 20 years of progressive, diversified experience leading CSR, sustainability, and ESG in large, complex multinational corporations. He’s the global head of impact and general manager of bechtel.org, the social impact company of Bechtel, an international engineering and construction firm. He was serving concurrently as Bechtel’s global head of sustainability, and prior to joining Bechtel, he served as global manager for strategic issues, policy, and corporate responsibility at Chevron, and worked for the Asian Development Bank in Manila and the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, D.C.

Tamira Gunzburg

Tamira Gunzburg is the director of ONE's Brussels office. She has been with the ONE Campaign since 2011, and works on a range of policy issues including transparency and accountability, development assistance, agriculture, and health. Before joining ONE, Tamira worked as an advocacy officer for a Belgian development NGO, on natural resource management in Central Africa. She also worked as a trainee at EuropeAid and at Save the Children’s EU office. Tamira is Belgian-South African and has a degree in economics from Wellesley College in Boston, USA.
