Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus

Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus was elected World Health Organization director-general for a five-year term by WHO member states in May 2017. In doing so, he was the first WHO director-general elected from among multiple candidates by the World Health Assembly, and was the first person from the WHO Africa region to head the world’s leading public health agency. Prior to his election as director-general, Tedros held many leadership positions in global health, including as chair of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, chair of the Roll Back Malaria Partnership, and co-chair of the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Board. Following his studies, Tedros returned to Ethiopia to support the delivery of health services, first working as a field-level malariologist, before heading a regional health service and later serving in Ethiopia’s federal government for over a decade as minister of health and minister of foreign affairs.

Teklehaymanot Weldemichel is an associate professor of human geography at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. His research areas encompass conservation politics, environmental justice, state violence, land rights, and the broader discourses of development.
Temina Madon

Temina Madon

Temina Madon is executive director of Center for Effective Global Action and provides leadership in the center's scientific development, partnerships, and outreach. She has worked as science policy adviser for the National Institutes of Health Fogarty International Center, where she focused on enhancing research capacity in developing countries. She has also served as science and technology policy fellow for the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, managing an extensive portfolio of global health policy issues.
Temitayo Erogbogbo

Temitayo Erogbogbo

Temitayo Erogbogbo leads multilateral organization engagement at MSD and is the director of global advocacy for the MSD for Mothers initiative. He is responsible for driving health equity through collaborative programs and advocacy efforts that promote policy and practice changes to enhance health outcomes by strengthening the capacity and resilience of health systems. Erogbogbo holds a BSc in management sciences from Loughborough University and an MSc in information technology for management from Coventry University.
Tensie Whelan

Tensie Whelan

Tensie Whelan is the president of the Rainforest Alliance. She was previously the vice president of conservation information at the National Audubon Society, executive director of the New York League of Conservation Voters, and managing editor of Ambio, an international environmental journal based in Stockholm. Whelan also serves on the the advisory board of Social Accountability International as well as the Unilever Sustainable Sourcing Advisory Board, and she is the co-chair of the Sustainable Food Lab's steering committee.
Tenzin Dolker

Tenzin Dolker

Tenzin Dolker is a Tibetan feminist advocate and researcher currently based in Chicago. At the Association for Women's Rights in Development, she facilitates, analyzes, and writes on the state of autonomous resourcing for feminist organizations. She is the author of the recent brief, “Where is the Money for Feminist Organizing?” Tenzin has previously worked at the United Nations Migration Agency in Kosovo, the Ford Foundation, and Machik.
Teresa Barger

Teresa Barger

Teresa Barger is a co-founder and senior managing director of Cartica. Before founding Cartica, Barger established the IFC/World Bank Corporate Governance and Capital Markets Advisory Department and served as its first director until 2007. Prior to that, she set up IFC's Private Equity and Investment Funds Department. As director of that department, Barger managed the largest portfolio of emerging markets investment funds in the world.
Teresa Casale

Teresa Casale

Teresa Casale is the executive director of Mina’s List, which promotes women’s political leadership and peace globally. It has worked with women leaders around the world since 2012 — in countries including Afghanistan, Lebanon, and Nigeria — and has been directly involved in shaping U.S. policy on women, peace, and security. In August 2021, Mina’s List shifted its work to helping evacuate women political leaders from Afghanistan and helping them resettle in Europe and North America.
Teresa Dumasy

Teresa Dumasy

Teresa Dumasy is the head of policy and learning for peacebuilding NGO Conciliation Resources. Prior to this role, she worked for a number of years in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Department for International Development. She has also worked as a consultant to various NGOs. She is also a senior research fellow at the Conflict Analysis Research Centre (CARC) at the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent.

Teresa Welsh

Teresa Welsh is a Senior Reporter at Devex. She has reported from more than 10 countries and is currently based in Washington, D.C. Her coverage focuses on Latin America; U.S. foreign assistance policy; fragile states; food systems and nutrition; and refugees and migration. Prior to joining Devex, Teresa worked at McClatchy's Washington Bureau and covered foreign affairs for U.S. News and World Report. She was a reporter in Colombia, where she previously lived teaching English. Teresa earned bachelor of arts degrees in journalism and Latin American studies from the University of Wisconsin.
