Tom Roth

Tom Roth is the lead for Asia tax counsel at the International Finance Corporation and an experienced international tax lawyer who has advised on corporate tax issues in both developed and emerging economies, particularly those resulting from the OECD BEPS Action Plan. Prior to joining IFC, Tom led Liberty Mutual’s Asia Pacific tax risk practice and prior to that was a member of Baker McKenzie’s tax practice in their Sydney, London and Singapore offices.

Tom Sessions

Tom’s role at CARE International UK is to manage their private sector engagement team and also their institutional partnerships team. He is interested in co-creating relevant and responsive partnerships for the future. Driving a dynamic dialogue across private sector and government partners is a key part of his role and part of CARE International UK’s approach to tackling poverty at scale. He works closely with DfID and other key donors together with corporate partners on global issues of poverty and social injustice. He also engages business around a shared value, core business approach, which will be crucial to see sustainable impacts for both commercial and social outcomes.

Tomasz Telma

Tomasz Telma is director for Europe and Central Asia of the International Finance Corp. based in Moscow. He is responsible for managing IFC’s activities in this region, including a significant investment program and portfolio, and an advisory program consisting of about 80 projects in 20 countries. Tomasz has been with IFC since 1995 with most of his career focused on developing and executing IFC’s debt and equity investments. Prior to his current assignment, he was based in Kazakhstan as associate director for Central Asia and Azerbaijan, and earlier in Moscow as chief investment officer responsible for IFC’s new financial sector investments in the region. Before joining IFC, he worked for PlanEcon, Inc., a private U.S.-based consulting and investment advisory firm focusing on Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.

Tomoko Harigaya

Tomoko Harigaya is PxD’s chief economist and director of research. Tomoko has extensive experience working with development organizations and government agencies on evaluation research. She has previously served as the Philippines country director at Innovations for Poverty Action, where she oversaw impact evaluations on microfinance and health programs and built research partnerships. Tomoko serves on the advisory group for the Climate Resilience Global Research & Innovation Priority at Airbel Impact Lab, International Rescue Committee.

Tonni Ann Brodber

Tonni Ann Brodber joined the UN Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund as the head of the secretariat in October 2024. With a wealth of experience in gender equality, resource mobilization, and civil society engagement in fragile settings, she has worked in Fiji, South Africa, Haiti, and the Caribbean. Previously, she served as representative of the UN Women's Multi-Country Office in the Caribbean and held senior roles in the Pacific and South Africa. She has also lectured in Yanshan University, China. Tonni holds degrees from the University of the West Indies, London School of Economics, and ESADE Business School in Barcelona.
