Tim previously worked in the South African National Treasury as an Overseas Development Institute fellow and holds a master's degree in economics for development from the University of Oxford.

Timothy Jinks

Timothy Jinks

Timothy Jinks was appointed the head of Infectious Disease Interventions at Wellcome in 2021. He leads Wellcome’s work in advancing R&D for therapeutics and diagnostics, alongside research to support solutions for antimicrobial resistance. In his previous role, he designed and led Wellcome’s strategic priority area for combatting drug-resistant infections, deploying a budget of over £250 million. Before joining Wellcome in 2012, he accumulated over a decade of industry experience both in biologic therapeutic R&D and latterly as a consultant providing business development, licensing and commercial research services.

He has worked as a human rights researcher for the Enough Project and communications director and consultant for Winrock International in South Sudan.

Tina Bolding is the director of DisasterReady.org and is responsible for the strategy, development, and outreach of DisasterReady to support the critical and demanding training needs of the global humanitarian and development community. Before joining the foundation, Bolding served as chief human resources officer at Food for the Hungry, where she was responsible for HR operations across 22 countries.

Prior to this role, Tisha has held various leadership positions in portfolio management, marketing, business development, and strategy for over 16 years in both the United States and Europe. In 2022, she moved to Singapore from Denmark.
