Yvonne MacPherson

Yvonne MacPherson is the director of BBC Media Action in the U.S. Prior to this role, she was country director of BBC Media Action in India. In this role she was responsible for all strategic, program, financial and technical aspects of the Media Action’s operations in India. While in India from 2004‐2011, Yvonne designed and managed behavior change communication initiatives on HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health, gender equality and livelihoods, among others. She is also the co‐author of the policy briefing "Health on the Move: Can mobile phones save lives?"

Zachary Burton is a researcher at Stanford University. His past work included global development management advisory in Chennai, India, with the Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies and the Impact Management Project, and as board advisor to U.S.-based nonprofit Bring Change to Mind and Bangalore-based science education NGO SSERD. He co-founded and leads The Manic Monologues Foundation, an organization dedicated to eradicating the stigma surrounding mental health conditions.
