Yvonne Chaka Chaka, global goodwill ambassador for the Roll Back Malaria, has made eradicating malaria a top priority and has lent her voice and well-known personality to draw global attention to the impact malaria has on children and families in Africa — bringing the voices of Africa’s poor to World Economic Forum, U.N. General Assembly, African Union and the White House, to name a few.

Yvonne Chen supports Quantum Impact's communications and fundraising activities, and is a contributing writer and editor. She has led business development activities across Asia and the U.S. and is based in San Francisco.

Yvonne Harz-Pitre is the co-chair of Farming First, a global coalition that represents the world's farmers, scientists, engineers and industry as well as leading NGOs. With one shared voice, Farming First highlights the importance of improving farmers' livelihoods and agriculture's potential contribution to global issues such as food security, climate change and biodiversity.

Yvonne MacPherson is the director of BBC Media Action in the U.S. Prior to this role, she was country director of BBC Media Action in India. In this role she was responsible for all strategic, program, financial and technical aspects of the Media Action’s operations in India. While in India from 2004‐2011, Yvonne designed and managed behavior change communication initiatives on HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health, gender equality and livelihoods, among others. She is also the co‐author of the policy briefing "Health on the Move: Can mobile phones save lives?"

Zacarias Zicai is the Mozambique country director of global disability and development organization Light for the World International. Zicai has led Light for the World’s emergency outreach following Cyclone Idai in 2019 and during the ongoing pandemic, focusing on ensuring people with disabilities are included in the aid response by humanitarian organizations.

Zach Marks is director of new products and partnerships at Tala, a mobile technology and data science company, opening up financial access for underserved people globally. Tala’s smartphone app uses alternative data to deliver instant credit and help customers build their financial identities.

Zach Theiler is a Washington D.C.-based journalist and communications consultant. He covers development governance and finance with a focus on national security policy, and his work has been featured in The New Humanitarian. Previously he led communications for NGOs in Washington D.C., East Africa, and the Caucuses.

Zacharia Kafuko is a molecular biochemist and an Arizona State University Mandela Washington fellow. He is the director of 1Day Africa, which focuses on global vaccine equity and the integration of low- and middle-income countries into modern medical research.

Zachary Burton is a researcher at Stanford University. His past work included global development management advisory in Chennai, India, with the Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies and the Impact Management Project, and as board advisor to U.S.-based nonprofit Bring Change to Mind and Bangalore-based science education NGO SSERD. He co-founded and leads The Manic Monologues Foundation, an organization dedicated to eradicating the stigma surrounding mental health conditions.

Zachary Katz is the vice president of essential medicines at Clinton Health Access Initiative, leading work on access to oxygen therapy to drastically reduce over 825,000 hypoxemia-related deaths annually. His team is also focused on improving care and treatment for diarrhea and pneumonia, which are among the leading causes of mortality for children under 5.
