Zicai has led Light for the World’s emergency outreach following Cyclone Idai in 2019 and during the ongoing pandemic, focusing on ensuring people with disabilities are included in the aid response by humanitarian organizations.

Zachary Burton is a researcher at Stanford University. His past work included global development management advisory in Chennai, India, with the Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies and the Impact Management Project, and as board advisor to U.S.-based nonprofit Bring Change to Mind and Bangalore-based science education NGO SSERD. He co-founded and leads The Manic Monologues Foundation, an organization dedicated to eradicating the stigma surrounding mental health conditions.

Zachary Katz is the vice president of essential medicines at Clinton Health Access Initiative, leading work on access to oxygen therapy to drastically reduce over 825,000 hypoxemia-related deaths annually. His team is also focused on improving care and treatment for diarrhea and pneumonia, which are among the leading causes of mortality for children under 5.

Zafrir Asaf is an impact economy and international development activist and businessperson. He has been supporting impactful and complex projects in three continents for over a decade and has worked with governments, development finance institutions, and the private sector to identify innovative solutions toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. He is a long-distance trail runner and a volleyball player.

Zahra Zeinali is a medical doctor from Iran with further training in public health focused on health systems, gender, and health equity from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She is a researcher with Global Health 50/50 and a fellow with the Rockefeller Foundation-Boston University 3-D Commission on Determinants of Health, Data, and Decision-making.

Oprah Winfrey identified her as one of the 25 women changing the world to People magazine, and Foreign Policy magazine called her one of “100 Top Global Thinkers.”
