Adelheid Onyango

Adelheid Onyango is the director of the universal health coverage/ healthier populations cluster at the World Health Organization’s regional office for Africa. She leads AFRO’s work with countries in addressing determinants of health through multisectoral action to promote well-being and health, reduce risk factors, and create healthy settings. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from Kenyatta University in Nairobi and a master’s and doctorate in Nutrition from McGill University in Canada. Her career spans academia, research, and public health policy and programming.

He has worked on key health systems issues for over 20 years in low- and middle-income countries, advised numerous international organizations and published over 250 scientific papers.

Adnan Kifayat

Adnan Kifayat is founder of Blueprint Strategies, LLC, and most recently served as the global lead for HIV therapeutic area for Gilead Sciences government affairs. He is an adviser to the Center on Economic and Financial Power of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies. He served twice on the National Security Council staff and as alternate executive director to the African Development Bank under U.S. President George W. Bush. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Dr. Ado Jimada Gana Muhammad was appointed executive director and CEO of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency in 2011. Prior to his appointment, he served as a special assistant in the Abuja state house. He has a distinguished medical career with a wealth of experience spanning almost two decades in the health and public service sectors. He is a graduate of the School of Medicine, University of Ilorin Nigeria, and also holds a master's degree in public health from University of Wales, United Kingdom.

He provides technical leadership engaging the network member organizations on a variety of issues such as documenting effective practices in family planning, dissemination of high-impact practices, and knowledge management. He has over 20 years of experience in international public health program design, technical assistance, management, and capacity building, focusing on HIV/AIDS and reproductive health.

He has been instrumental in successful campaigns such as Make Poverty History and the Jubilee 2000 debt relief initiative, and has held leadership roles at Oxfam, Save the Children, and the World Wide Web Foundation.

Adriana Parejo Pagador is an advocacy communications officer at the Dutch development aid organization Cordaid, with expertise in global health, climate, migration, and gender. She has five years of experience working in the development and humanitarian field. She holds a Master of Science in International Development Studies from the University of Amsterdam, as well as a Master of Science in Public Administration of Migration and Diversity from the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
