Benjamin Bathke is a freelance journalist covering media innovation, startups and intractable global issues for Germany’s international broadcaster Deutsche Welle, as well as several other international publications. In 2015-2016, Ben was a Global Journalism Fellow at the Munk School of Global Affairs and a multimedia storyteller for Washington University in St. Louis.

Ben Feit is the founder of ReThink Associates and president of Pope Solutions, where he advises government contractors and mission-driven organizations. With over 30 years of experience, he has designed, led, and implemented development programs across Africa, eastern Europe, and the Middle East, supporting governance transitions and institutional capacity. A former CEO and chief growth officer, Ben has also driven strategy, growth, and organizational transformation. For the past 15 years, he has taught graduate courses on foreign aid policy and practice at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.

Benjamin Kumpf is working on social innovation for the United Nations Development Program, exploring new and emerging data for development, behavioral insights, lean and agile development and other extraordinary topics to change business as usual.

Benjamin Petrini earned his master's in international relations from Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies with a concentration in international economics and strategic studies. He also holds a degree in political science from Università degli Studi di Roma Tre. He has worked for the U.N. Office on Drugs and Crime headquarters in Vienna and, through a fellowship, the Italian embassy in Tehran. He has also worked as a researcher at Globe Research and Publishing, an Italian think tank focusing on the Middle East. Benjamin was a fellow in our Barcelona and later in our Washington, D.C., office from June to September 2007 before joining the World Bank's Conflict, Crime and Violence team. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and Italian is his mother tongue.

Benjamin Segal joined Trickle Up as a board member in 2007. Benjamin is currently a graduate student at Adelphi University, seeking certification as a high school mathematics teacher. Prior to that, he spent over 20 years as a portfolio manager at Neuberger Berman LLC. Benjamin joined Neuberger in 1999 from Invesco GT Global in London and previously was a management consultant at Bain & Company in South Africa and an investment analyst at Lehman Brothers in Hong Kong.

Benoît Chauvin is senior vice president of business development at Colas Group — a French international contractor. He is also president of the federation of European International Contractors. Benoît Chauvin received his postgraduate degree in engineering from Ecole spéciale des Travaux publics, du Bâtiment et de l´Industrie in 1982 and studied at Institut Français du Pétrole. Prior to his engagement at Colas Group in 2012, he was CEO at Sofresid Engineering and director for engineering, process, and major projects at Saipem and Bouygues Offshore.

Benoît Laleu is a medicinal chemist. Currently, he is the director of drug discovery at Medicines for Malaria Venture, where he works with pharmaceutical companies and academic groups to advance antimalarial drug discovery projects. He is also responsible for leading a workstream to establish a pandemic preparedness discovery platform for novel therapeutics.

Benson Mutuku is a gender expert with Tanager and has over 13 years of experience working with international and other NGOs, the private sector, and government institutions. Benson has extensive experience in programmatic design, implementation, and technical advising for gender programs in agriculture, food security and nutrition, financial inclusion and economic empowerment, policy and advocacy, and education and health.
