Carsten Staur

Carsten Staur

Carsten Staur has been the chair of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s Development Assistance Committee since 2023. He previously served as Denmark’s ambassador to the OECD and UNESCO in Paris from 2018 to 2023, and before that as his country’s ambassador to the United Nations — in New York from 2007 to 2013, and in Geneva from 2013 to 2018. He was Denmark’s state secretary for international development cooperation from 2001 to 2007.

Cary Adams

Cary Adams is CEO of the Union for International Cancer Control. Cary has also served as chair of the NCD Alliance, a coalition of around 2000 organizations working on noncommunicable diseases, which include cancer, diabetes, heart, respiratory, mental, and neurological diseases. In May 2015, Cary was awarded “CEO of the year” at the International and European Association conference organized by the Associations Network.

Casey Sword works at DAI on trade and investment in East Africa. In addition to her project delivery experience, she has researched and written on development finance and workforce development. She holds a bachelor’s degree in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia.

Cassandre Pignon is the West Africa regional director at IDinsight, based in Dakar, Senegal. She leads portfolio development and client engagements across West Africa and the Francophone region beyond West Africa.
Cassie Chandler

Cassie Chandler

Cassie Chandler is the global manager for microfinance and health protection at Freedom from Hunger. She has worked at Freedom from Hunger since 2008. In her current role, Cassie provides strategic and technical leadership and support to advance integrated health and financial services initiative. Prior to joining Freedom from Hunger, Cassie worked with the Latino Health Access Network in New Orleans and with organizations in Mexico and Kenya on microfinance and HIV/AIDS projects. She served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras focusing on maternal and child health.
Cat Cora

Cat Cora

Chef Cat Cora is known for her role on Food Network’s Iron Chef, the competition’s first female winner. Cora is also the co-founder of the non-profit organization, Chefs for Humanity. She has worked with Michelle Obama’s Chefs Move to School campaign and has traveled with Save the Children, the World Food Program and several policy makers.

Catalina Reyes

Catalina Reyes is an advocacy officer at Publish What You Fund. She monitors news and developments on the World Bank, U.S. foreign assistance and aid transparency, and directly engages with people who work on aid reform and aid effectiveness. Her background includes education reform and human rights advocacy in the nonprofit sector. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Arizona State University and a master’s in international affairs from Catholic University in Washington, D.C.

Catarina de Albuquerque

Catarina de Albuquerque

Catarina de Albuquerque joined Sanitation and Water for All in 2014. Her priorities as CEO include providing strategic leadership to the partnership, as well as being an influential and powerful advocate for SWA and managing the secretariat. Before joining SWA, de Albuquerque was the first United Nations special rapporteur on the human right to safe drinking water and sanitation. She was awarded the human rights golden medal by the Portuguese Parliament for outstanding work in the area of human rights.

Caterina Alari

Caterina Alari has been a senior adviser in the National School of Government International from 2012 to March 2016 and is now based in Islamabad. She has developed and delivered programs of civil service reform, leadership development, ethics and integrity, service delivery and change management – in many countries including Mozambique, Uganda, Sudan, Angola, Cyprus, Ethiopia, Cambodia, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan and Rwanda.
