Catherine Cheney

Catherine Cheney is the Senior Editor for Special Coverage at Devex. She leads the editorial vision of Devex’s news events and editorial coverage of key moments on the global development calendar. Catherine joined Devex as a reporter, focusing on technology and innovation in making progress on the Sustainable Development Goals. Prior to joining Devex, Catherine earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Yale University, and worked as a web producer for POLITICO, a reporter for World Politics Review, and special projects editor at NationSwell. She has reported domestically and internationally for outlets including The Atlantic and the Washington Post. Catherine also works for the Solutions Journalism Network, a non profit organization that supports journalists and news organizations to report on responses to problems.

Catherine Duggan is CEO at the International Pharmaceutical Federation. Duggan is responsible for visionary leadership, support, development, and advocacy across 144 member organizations and 4 million members FIP represents. Duggan has worked in community, primary care, hospital, and academia. She was awarded an honorary professorship from University of Nottingham’s School of Pharmacy, and fellowships from Royal Pharmaceutical Society and University College London’s School of Pharmacy.

Catherine Gray is a researcher at the Access to Medicine Foundation, where she focuses on pharmaceutical companies’ capacity building activities in the Access to Medicine Index. She also leads the Access to Vaccines Index, a new tool for mapping companies’ efforts to make their vaccines more accessible. Catherine has worked in diverse health policy and data analysis roles for the Australian government and the World Health Organization. She holds a master's degree in public health from the University of New South Wales.

Catherine Kannam is currently the senior vice president for Chemonics’ Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Afghanistan region. A local economic development and municipal governance specialist, Kannam joined Chemonics in 2010 as a manager. Her portfolio has included managing the Tunisia Tax and Customs Pilot, an activity under the Asia and Middle East Economic Growth Best Practices project; the Jordan Cities Implementing Transparent, Innovative, and Effective Solutions project; and the Lebanon Water Infrastructure Support and Enhancement project.

Catherine Macharia-Mutie

Catherine Macharia-Mutie is a nutrition specialist at Tanager. Her expertise cuts across nutrition-specific and -sensitive programming with a focus on maternal, infant, and young child nutrition targeting improvements in micronutrient and healthy diet intake. Catherine previously held various roles with the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition and Kenya’s Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

Catherine Nakalembe is an associate research professor at the University of Maryland, the Africa program director under NASA Harvest, and a member of the NASA SERVIR Applied Sciences Team on which she serves as the Agriculture and Food Security thematic lead. Catherine has broad research interests and leads projects focusing on the development methods and applications of satellite remote sensing and machine learning to agriculture and food security, land use and land-use change mapping, humanitarian mapping, and climate change.
