Charlotte Ersbøll

Charlotte Ersbøll is senior adviser to Ferring Pharmaceuticals’ Project Family: Safe Birth initiative, leading partnership development, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy. Ferring is committed to reducing maternal mortality and ensuring every woman has access to quality care during pregnancy and childbirth. Charlotte also serves on the Global Alliance for Women’s Health deputy board. Previously, she advised the U.N. Global Compact CEO, leading its Health is Everyone’s Business platform, and held executive roles at Novo Nordisk and global communications agencies.

Charlotte Ntim is a disruptive technology officer with the International Finance Corporation’s gender and economic inclusion group, where she leads the Digital2Equal peer-learning program and supports advisory engagements with clients in the tech sector. Her previous experience includes consulting on project design and supervising implementation of World Bank projects in innovation, SME finance, tourism, and clean technology.

Charlotte Petri Gornitzka was elected as chair of the Development Assistance Committee in 2016. Prior to this, she served as director-general of the Swedish International Development Co-operation Agency where she emphasized Sweden’s role as leader in development cooperation and led efforts to implement innovative models to stimulate private sector engagement in development activities.

Chelsey Canavan

Chelsey R. Canavan is a research and communications specialist with Management Sciences for Health, a global non-profit that develops sustainable health systems in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. She also serves as deputy coordinator of Health for All Post-2015, a global campaign of civil society organizations advocating for universal health coverage in the post-2015 development agenda. She was an ASPPH Allan Rosenfield Global Health Fellow at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and has a MSPH in health policy and management from the University of North Carolina.

Prior to joining MSH, she was an Allan Rosenfield global health fellow at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She has a master's in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Chema Vera

José María (Chema) Vera is the interim executive director of Oxfam International. He first joined Oxfam Intermón as director of Madrid headquarters and soon after as campaigns and policy director. Between 2006 and 2012, he worked for the Ibero-American General Secretariat, coordinating the programs of its heads of state summits. In 2012, he re-joined Oxfam Intermón as executive director.

Cheng Feng is the chair of the China Alliance for South-South Health Cooperation Research and a professor at Tsinghua University Research Center for Public Health. He is also the China country director of Global Health Strategies initiatives, a not-for-profit focused on engaging local stakeholders and new champions in developing countries to elevate key global health issues.
